Opinions Requested: Nuk Hopkins Trade!!!

All,

I have received a very attractive offer but it would mean trading away my best player (Hopkins). It is a 14 team PPR league with 2 flex spots.

I would receive Will Fuller, Courtland Sutton, Lesean McCoy, and the 2019 1st round (#4) overall pick for Hopkins.

My other current WRs on my team are Jarvis Landry, Corey Davis, and Enuwa (Jets). My current RBs are Devonta Freeman, Drake, and Austin Ekler.

Do you think this would be a smart move for my dynasty team?

Not near enough for me to give up Nuk. Fuller is good but can’t stay healthy, Shady is old and in the pit of misery (no, not Oakland, the other pit of misery, Buffalo), need more 1st rounders in a better draft (like last years). Sutton doesn’t get close to making up the difference.

I think having a top 5 overall player in a 14 team league is that much more of a weekly advantage, and I'd need more. In such a deep league he's a set and forget player, whereas the return you'd get for him would have you having to play matchups every week. And when you add in the fact that your RB situation isn't getting particularly stronger through it (Shady is all the way cooked at this point), it's a no from me.

Great feedback. Def appreciate all the input. I was thinking of countering and replacing Lesean McCoy with Tarik Cohen. That makes it a much more balanced trade. Still debating if I should pull the trigger on the counter (which I know the other owner would accept).

Seems like a classic trade of a dollar for a pile of quarters. I still don’t like it with Cohen in there, although that’s better.

What are his bigger pieces?

This is not a very attractive offer. You do need RB help but neither McCoy nor Cohen are the RB help you're looking for.

It's still a bunch of quarters for a dollar. If you are rebuilding and need depth then you should look at moving hopkins for two top 10 players....something like Juju + Cook.

To this date Sutton is still very very much in unknown territory, Will Fuller can't stay healthy and doesn't look like he ever will, Lesean McCoy is worth a turd sandwich, Cohen is a nice piece but not a true bellcow and not worth Nuk, 1.04 is just a dart throw.
