Mahomes value - 1 QB league

In a league with one starting QB, what is Mahomes' value? I'm interested in hearing what he's worth in terms of players? Which RBs and/or WRs would you be happy with in order to trade Mahomes away.

current roster:
Mahomes, Dak
Hopkins, Allen, Diggs, MVS, Tre'Quan Smith
Gordon, Michel, Kerryon Johnson, Ito Smith, Derrick Henry, Guice, Hunt
Gronk, Goedert

K. Allen, plus possibly Hopkins or Gordon, will have to be cut due to my salary cap situation.

Probably like a Landry,Guice, Golladay type. I'd say something around 2 firsts

I offered Juju and was turned down. I think most on this forum would put his value below that, however his owners likely value him higher than what the "real" value might be.

Juju is definitely worth more. I'm not sure which players to compare him to, but he's probably worth the 1.01, if not more, even in a 1QB league.

That's nuts. I'm as big a Mahomes fan as there is, but even I would take JuJu straight up in 1QB.

Well I wasn't sure how luck was gonna come back with the shoulder, and I think Mahomes was averaging 38 ppg in the first 3 weeks. I actually had even more WR depth at the start of the season believe it or not. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't do that trade since Luck seems fine. Still though he will command a hefty price. He is super young in a very explosive offense, I don't see him falling off or anything. He should be top 5 at minimum for many years to come.

To me the determination on his value comes down to how you think he will be moving forward, if you think he keeps up this him and then everyone else pace he as this year. he's comparable to having a legit stud at another position if you think he'll regress(in the broadest sense of the term just to something that isn't this record shattering pace) he's still worth of a top 4 round selection in startup pushing into top 3 round

6 points for td pass I probably wouldn’t trade him unless I received a top 24 start-up player. 4 points for td pass and I’d take less like what was mentioned above. Landry, Guice Golladay etc.

i have Mahomes in league 1 below, i love JuJu, but in my case, i would need a QB added in the deal or i would have to reject...
so, without knowing his other QB, i could understand...

I think Mahomes will come back down to earth a bit next year. Some of the throws he's making just can't continue to go his way forever. His interception rate will go up. But I do believe he's a huge difference maker and the QB to own.
I'd still take Juju over him- but I'd say he's in the Landry/Cooper range. Maybe Phillip Lindsay range.

While I tend to get in trouble on this site when I bring up dynasty rankings- they are fairly close. DFL has Mahomes at 41 and Lindsay at 47. Things change way to fast in this league to say anything is idiotic when they are ranked even in the same ballpark. I was giving an option at RB that would be close on paper. Just depends if you think Lindsay can maintain this after 2018. The others being Guice, Jones, Kerryon, Dalvin depending on which way you go up or down the rankings.

I was able to add him on the cheap pre season, post rookie draft. I traded A Callaway for him straight up, it was a Cleveland fan. Now knowing that I potentially have a elite qbs for the next 12-15 years I’d need a top player. Right now it’s simply start him and worry about his 1 bye week a year. Even with the lose of Hunt he still has a solid core around him. I’d want a top flight player in return, if not roll him out for the next 10 years.

Juju would be about the least I sell him at in 1 QB (I don't even consider selling Pat in 2 QB, would need more than what people want to pay, similar to Gurley in standard leagues).

I agree with the notion that after the top 20 are off the board (something like 12 WR and 8 RB) he needs to be taken. In a startup, I've taken guys like Kerryon or Chubb and am disappointed when they fizzle in 2 years. Obviously not saying that will or won't happen to those 2 but you get the idea... Mahomes will be around for a while and that brings a lot of value in dynasty

With OP roster, I'm probably just holding him. No way i would want Dak starting each week and the rest of your roster is fine. Why sell?
