Josh Gordon

What is josh Gordon’s value going into offseason? Any chance to get him with a late first? If not who should I put with the pick?

Late first is my value on him, I would not pay more, because of his history. (I actually would not pay that for him, but that's where I value him) Depends on how risk averse the other owner is. I think Brady is on his last legs, and not sure what their QB situation is going forward.

Pretty much this. I'll never get a good offer for him in the league I have him, so he will likely be my flex and bye week fill in until he gets kicked out of the league (which I have a feeling he won't be) or his situation worsens (Brady retires, different team, etc.)

Agree that I wouldn't pay more than a late 1st, but also don't think Gordon owners move him for that alone.

If you own Gordon and can get a late 1st I'd recommend doing that in heartbeat. Brady is 41, Gordon is a FA after this season and with a potential large contract looming he could easily go on a bender and get kicked out of the league if you ask me.

What are some other targets you like better going into the offseason that you can get for a late 1st?

I would not pay that for him, but then again, I am not in a desperate position. If I felt I needed to make a risky move, maybe I would consider it with his upside, but the risk is certainly huge.

I'm pretty sure GM's have google also. Who is going to give him some huge, guaranteed contract?

It may not be 15+ million with 45 guaranteed but Gordon's skill and production this year alone will command a 10+ million a year salary regardless of his past.I mean heck Donte Freaking Moncrief signed a 1 year 10 million contract. Considering he's making 700,000 this year I think that's a pretty significant pay raise

I would wager that most of his money will be incentive based. And I don't think he would have made it this far if his motivation was just to make a few more million then start getting high again.

He hasn't been all that impressive this year though. He's had one game all year where he's scored more than 20 points. Every single other game was under 15. He's barely a WR3 and wouldn't really be someone I'd want to rely on if I'm competing. He's obviously extremely talented and can go to a great situation next year and put up big numbers, but I'm not moving a 1st and taking that risk.

Haha red flags go up if Gordon asks for all of his money in a signing bonus
