This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Big Trade for Zeke

Postby Yung Don » Sat Dec 01, 2018 10:06 am

Hey everyone, I just received an enticing offer for my Zeke right before playoffs. My team is 5-8 and out of playoff contention and I’ve been tanking for years. Got Zeke at 1.01 in 2016 and have been slowly adding pieces. Here’s the offer:

Give: Ezekiel Elliott
Get: Leveon Bell, Courtland Sutton, Evan Engram, 2019 1st (late) 2019 2nd (late)

The offering team is 10-3 so picks will be late. It’s tough for me to trade one of the prizes I’ve won for legally tanking, but it might be a good deal to set me up for years. Here’s my team:

Wentz, Matt Ryan
Zeke, Mixon, Guice, Edmonds, Ito Smith
Corey davis, ty Hilton, Chris Godwin, Ross, Agholor, Parker
Trey burton, Ebron, Jonny Smith

It’s a sorry team and Zeke is clearly the best piece. Is this a deal to take? Thanks very much for all advice!

I think that only assures you'll be tanking again next season no for me personally but bell could land somewhere great and that all could change soon

I would keep Zeke here. Not big on Sutton, engram has done nothing and the picks aren't bad but I'd hold zeke. He can handle 350 touches with ease. He's good for another 5 maybe 6 years.

Wow, thanks for advice guys. Good thing I posted here because I thought it was an instant accept. I’ll hold for now I think, hopefully won’t have to tank next year.

I'd rather see you trade TY for some additional young WR pieces than see you trade Zeke to get those. Burton will continue to grow with Trubisky and I think if Ebron continues to show well down the stretch he could take the job out right from Doyle in 2019. If Ebron is the primary starter next year I find myself having a hard time prefering Engram to Ebron, He's been a stud and is the same age as Engram
