Team 3 in sig 12 team ppr superflex
Hunt owner thinking of trying to cash in on ware before he plays and possibly has a dud game. Im contending and with Hunt I felt confident in winning the league so losing Hunt is a huge hit. Technically Ware isnt his handcuff any more so i dont need to keep the pair together. That being said what is spencer ware's value knowing he's a free agent after this season.

Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
tbh I think KC resigns him even if they draft a RB or sign a FA , He knows the offence and is a decent RB ,
If they draft a RB he should start again next year just to protect PattyM and keep the offence clicking , If they sign Bell or another good RB then Ware still makes for a decent cheap backup for KC.

Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
They already had a chance to make Ware their lead guy, and didn't, even after he had some solid production. I fully expect they'll bring in someone else if they know they won't have Hunt. Also, in a superflex league the value of later picks rises because of all those QBs that will be up there.
If I was a contending team this year I would probably pay an early 2nd. He's not worth a 1st.

Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
I would say he is an early 2nd right now with not having played a game as a starter yet. His value could go up pretty easily. Unless I had picks to burn, no way I would pay a 1st for Ware
Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
Other. Even assuming he signs back on with the Chiefs, they will be looking to replace Hunt as the starter, moving Ware back to the correct role as a backup.playa_hata wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 1:48 am what is spencer ware's value knowing he's a free agent after this season.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
Ware did an admirable in 2016 as a backup but that's just what he is, a great backup. After a decent season they still felt the need to trade up in the draft to get Hunt. There's a reason for that. Ware isn't THE guy in KC and they don't want him to be. Expect a FA signing or a draft pick to replace Hunt

Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
As a chiefs fan I would be very hesitant to unload a first for Ware. I think the Chiefs will address the RB position in either free agency or the draft at best Ware is in a time share next season in my opinion.

Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
Ware was very very good as a starter in 2016.
In 2016 Ware avg 97 scrimmage yards per game... In his career Ware has 11 games with over 15 touches. In those games he averages 105 total yards, 5.3 yards per touch, 16.5 fantasy PPG.
And that was with a team that isn't even close to what he has now , All of next year depends on what Ware does reat of the year , If he is a top 5-10 RB then he will be the starter next year.

He was the starter in 2016 then he missed all of 2017 and in 2017 Hunt went off as a rookie he wasn't going to lose the job back to Ware.Tennisbuck wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:43 amX2jeffster wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 5:53 am They already had a chance to make Ware their lead guy, and didn't, even after he had some solid production. Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
When the chiefs traded up to grab Hunt in the 3rd round of 2016 just about everyone saw the writing on the wall, not it probably wouldn't have happened week 1 if he didn't get hurt but just about everyone believed ware wasn't long for a full time role. Like I said, he's one of the best backup's in the league but he isn't what the Chiefs want out of the RB. In 2016 he also mightily struggled to find the endzone and only had 900 rushing yards. They may not draft a high end RB but they likely repeat what they did with hunt and draft a guy they like in the 2nd or 3rd round and see if they can phase ware back out.AresGodOWar wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:55 am Ware was very very good as a starter in 2016.

14/47 for 3.4 YPC against the worst team in the NFL isn't going to cut it.

Re: Ware or 19 First PPR superflex league?
He looked terrible last night , idk what happen nerves maybe or just rusty , I mean tbh Oak almost beat them lol.. he only got 14 carries and a couple targets though , Never know if the 15th would have been a 50 yard run like most RBs get to make their bad stats look good , It happens so many times a RB at the end of the 4th is avg. 2 ypc and breaks the 50-60 yard TD and everyone forgets he sucked all gameTitans95 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 6:59 amWhen the chiefs traded up to grab Hunt in the 3rd round of 2016 just about everyone saw the writing on the wall, not it probably wouldn't have happened week 1 if he didn't get hurt but just about everyone believed ware wasn't long for a full time role.
