I'm about to make a move that might be a bit insane.

Give: Melvin Gordon + 2019 1st (7-10) + 2 2020 1st + Tyrell Williams
Get: Todd Gurley + Malcolm Brown

I know it's Gurley but is this too much even for him? I'm a 9-3 team, so I'm desperate to try and fix my RB1 with Gordon going down. Is it too desperate? It's a 10 team PPR for team in sig.

Well the 2020 1sts could be anywhere. The 2019 1st I'd be trading is of a team guaranteed to get a 1st round bye. They're the title favorite, but anything can happen.

I did it, so hopefully it works out. I think it gives me a great shot at this year and improves my odds at 2019 as well. I'll feel the pain in 2020 but that's part of the game.

As for Brown, there's always a chance but I wouldn't be too optimistic about that. If one day you wake up and he is on a new team, great. If not, you have the LAR backfield

I just wanted to secure the handcuff to avoid a repeat of the Melvin situation that caused me to try to make this deal in the first place. I have liked the little bit of Brown I've seen though. I was just curious about what other people thought of him.

I voted for the Gordon side before you lost now I see it as the that side very easily. Not the worst trade ever next year you'll be fine but your going to miss those 2020 picks

Wish I would've seen this trade before you went through with it. I normally agree with Goddard but this time I can't hop on board of giving 3 1sts and Gordon for any player. I'm sure you were making the championship push but I would've tried to survive without Gordon because he's likely back this week for week 15. No he isn't Gurley but He's been the RB3 in points per game and only scoring 1 less point that Gurley. He's one year older that Gurley and obviously Gurley is the more valuable asset but I don't think 3 1sts was the difference. a late 19 1st is whatever but 2 2020 1sts could end up being pretty huge. People are already hyping up the RB talent coming in 2020 and those first couple be earlier than late. Seems like you sold out for 1 player would you could've had a similarly aged producing player with 3 1sts to either bolster youth or use to acquire more proven players if you ask me.

I’m pretty new to dynasty and I panicked with the deal because it was right before the trade deadline. I really appreciate the feedback and I know it was a big mistake in retrospect. I guess all I can do now is try to move forward the best I can and try to hit on my picks this year or trade back into the 2020 draft with them later in the offseason.
