Ronald Jones II
Is anyone buying low on Jones? If so, what do you think is a good price or offer?
Re: Ronald Jones II
Not a fan of Jones at all, but offering a 2nd is tempting.
I'm in too many leagues to list them here
Re: Ronald Jones II
I'm not buying, but I agree a 2nd is probably fair at this point. Not sure if owners would move him for that though if they spent an early or mid 1st on him.

Re: Ronald Jones II
I would not even offer a 2nd, personally. He has been an avoid for me through the entire process. I see him as a wasted pick, but I may be wrong.

I've felt this way about him as well throughout the whole process and really questioned Tampa's coaching ability to put him in the proper scheme. However I'm in a position with new 2019 picks other than a mid 2nd from another owner and I need RB help more than anything else. Would a mid 2nd for a dart throw on Jones be worth it?FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Wed Nov 21, 2018 12:42 pm I would not even offer a 2nd, personally. He has been an avoid for me through the entire process. My thought process is that a decent amount of Jone's struggle is the O-line and running scheme. They are using Barber and Jones the exact same way when they are polar opposite backs. Barber is a slow plodder, Jones is dynamic in open space and has a lot of burst but not great vision and gets knocked over by a strong gust of wind. BUT maybe with a new coach and scheme they can find ways to get Jones in space?

Re: Ronald Jones II
I'd buy...the kid is still 21
Re: Ronald Jones II
As an unfortunate owner of his in many leagues I wouldn’t accept a 2nd and in the leagues where I don’t own him nobody is accepting a 2nd either.
Best bet is probably offering a different struggling prospect with draft hype

Re: Ronald Jones II
RoJo is 21, was a 2nd round NFL draft pick in a loaded RB class, and went in the first of many dynasty rookie drafts. Is he worth trading a 2nd fo, in a weaker class? Flip yeah he is!!!
RoJo has had some struggles, but he is still young, had a great track record at USC, and the film is there. I can't penalize him for his offensive line not blocking well, and the coaching staff being a joke. Trading a flier pick such as a mid 2nd or later, for a guy that could end up being a RB2 (possibly RB1 if he can work on his consistency with receiving), is a great long term play.

Re: Ronald Jones II
Jones is worth a second to me
but he has one glaring issue, he's a great space back who's hard to get in space because he can't catch

Re: Ronald Jones II
I already sold. Come yell at me in 2 years when hes blowing up. I'll sit and laugh at wasted picks on him in the mean time
