Final trade of the season. How were my moves overall?

Howdy all. Just made my final trade for the season on this team, and I'm curious how y'all think I did overall. I'm feeling slightly cocky when looking at my team post-draft and now, so I need some of that DLF realism to come back to earth. Thanks for your time. I'll post the exact deals in order at the bottom of the post for those that want to critique.

Got: CMC, Rudolph (felt it was an even swap of rbs, and an upgrade for me from Ebron to Rudolph)

2: Gave Kamara
Got Drake, MT, Julio. (obvious win)

3: Gave: Julio
Got: Watkins, 2019 1st (this was a loss. Gambled Watkins would do better and Julio would slip a little. Also wanted the 1st for trading)

4: Gave: Ridley
Got: John Brown, 2019 1st (mainly wanted the 1st as trade bait. wr was very undervalued in this league at the start of season)

5: Gave: CMC
Got: Amari, Ridley, 2x 2019 1sts (projected early-mid), 2x 2019 3rds. (liked the value, and had 4x 1sts to negotiate with now)

6: Gave: Penny, 3rd
Got: Lindsay, 2nd (probably lost this one in the long run. needed a solid rb for right now)

7: Gave: 1x 2019 1st (early), 1x 2019 1st (late)
Got: Kelce

8: Gave: Alshon, 1x 2019 1st (mid)
Got: Antonio Brown

9: Gave: Ridley
Got: Carr (needed a bye week fill in for Cousins)

10: Gave: Kupp, Breida, 2019 1st (mid), 2020 1st (likely late)
got: David Johnson


If you've made it this far I should also mention there has been 3 other teams very active in trading, so a lot of these deals were made during an RB arms race and rb values were super inflated. While everyone was negotiating for rbs I opted to beef up everywhere else.

Oh I completely agree. That was his opening offer too, and we hadn't even discussed anything before that. He bragged about the "deal" he got in our GroupMe, got properly informed, and then dropped out of the league like 5 weeks later. Thanks!

Yeah that one was me trying to be cute and being impatient. I'd only been shopping Julio for a few days at that point so it was definitely a boneheaded move to pull the trigger so soon. I definitely left money on the table there. Thanks!

I'm my opinion, you greatly improved your receivers, but downgraded your RBs. But since you only have to start one, it wasn't a bad idea. Overall solid, but agree, without the Kamara trade, the season of trading doesn't look as good

Thanks! I did #9 only to keep from losing that week. Three of us were vying for 1st place the past few weeks and I didn't want to fall behind. 100% a move for this year.

I do think I slightly downgraded at rb, but my improvement at wr and te made up for it I feel. Still ended up with 2x rb1 (for now) at the end of it though. Yeah before the Kamara deal I wasn't interested in making moves. I was happy with CMC and Kamara. That offer was too lopsided to refuse, and I knew he had sent other offers out like that so it was either take it or watch someone else benefit. That move actually skewed the value of top RBs in this league for several weeks, and kicked off the arms race. Thanks!


One deal I will mention that I stupidly turned down just before the season started.

Give: Wilson, CMC
Get: Goff, Kamara, 2019 1st

Guy was really high on Wilson, and so was I. Figured Goff would decline a bit from last year and Wilson would continue to be the qb1 (especially with .5 ppc). Also figured Kamara would regress a little bit and be about equal or slightly behind CMC. Mistakes were made...
