Brees + Fitzgerald + Jaguars D

Hate to give up my 2020 1st since that class looks great, but Brees would shore up my QB for this week plus has a couple potentially nice match-ups with TB and PIT in weeks 14 and 16. Of course I still have Mahomes though.

Jaguars D would help as they face TEN-WASH-MIA in fantasy playoffs and my current defenses have tough match-ups.

Fitz would slide into flex spot. Currently starting a combo of OJ Howard (hurt)/Tyrell Wiliams/Christian Kirk.

A win would lock up the #1 seed heading into the playoffs. Defenses score a lot in this league (ex. Bears defense = 18.7 ppg) so Jags D not worthless.

I wouldn't give up a 1st for a one week rental. I'm sure you can find a cheaper option.

Just stream the spots. I wouldn't give up a 1st for that junk. It's a 1QB league where you have Mahomes. Brees would never play for you again.

Fitz is worth a second maybe, but not a 1st.

I don't know why people play dynasty with defenses, but Jaguars D has not been that good this year, and I doubt you play them over the Bears.

i am (was) in the same predicament this week...i own both mahomes and alex smith...luckily i was home and by a computer when i saw the injury...i immediately went to the ww and found mullens sitting there...luckily, SF had a bye...so i dropped higgins (Cle also on bye) to pick up mullins so i didn't have to deal with trying win him in Blind Bidding...
so, if mullens is available, he would be my first choice playing TB this week...in not, mccoy must be out there....or perhaps if mariota isn't playing, Gabbert must be available...
