I don't see how you pass that up in rebuild mode. That's the equivalent of 4 firsts (I know many are down on RoJo but its way too early to write him off). While it would be nice to sell for 3 early firsts, or Diggs+1.02, etc., there are very few teams willing and/or able to pay those prices. Holding AB when you are a few years from competing can be just as risky as selling for less than ideal value.

Agreed if you aren’t in full contend mode to start next year then you are risking holding AB for too long. This is a fair deal AND it may be the only fair deal you get with AB aging up and Big Ben looking like he needs to retire soon, so I would snap it up before draft pick prices go up in the off season

Value wise, i think it's maybe a 2nd too light, with the expectation that one of the 1st's is top 6. However, trading him in a full rebuild enables you to tank easier, and makes your pick better too.

Regardless of the pick position my biggest issue is RoJo, not confident in any way he'll be anything other than a bust and you won't be able to sell him for anything worth value. Maybe you could package him with one of your 1sts if its late to move up to the early part of the draft.

Risky given the fact that RoJo is looking like bust city and Penny hasn't taken the reigns (yet) either. Like others have said, the picks could end up being late as well.

Having said that, since you're in rebuild I could see why you'd want to cash out on AB at this time. Risky for sure, but could end up being a good move for you.
