Dalvin Cook Offer

Postby DLF_TylerK » Mon Nov 19, 2018 2:57 pm

Is this a fair offer for Cook or is it too much or too little? 10 team PPR for team in sig.

I think thats an overpay based on what we have seen from him so far and the Vikings OL. This is a loaded draft. I think David Montgomery is a better prospect than Cook at RB and based on WR talent (Harry, Edwards, Brown), he would still be there.

You are in a 10 team league. Studs are king in a 10 teamer and you got a crack at two biggies with those two firsts.

You are probably worrying about a second RB and are afraid that Carson is in a committee. Well Seattle runs the ball enough to give two backs 20 touches each so I would not worry about that. Start Carson and Gordon and then cash in at the draft next year.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Waller, J. Woods, Dulich, Mayer

Team 2: 12 Team SF 1ppr, Start 10
QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins
WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley
WR: G. Wilson, Higgins, Godwin, Kirk, Bateman, Collins, Doubs, Chark, Shaheed,
TE: Schultz, I Smith, Bellinger, Parham, Fant, Likely, Granson,

Don't think he'll be rated as a better prospect, but i could easily see him having more NFL success.

I’d take the 2 1sts. I know it’s not the greatest draft, but I’m not sure Dalvin ever bounces all the way back, because he was so dependent on the big play & I think they’ll always look to pair him w/ a bigger RB as they have w/ Murray. So, ultimately, it depends on how the Cook owner is feeling these days, but it’s a sound offer.
Team 1

QB- Carr, Mac
RB- Kamara, Patterson, Swift, Ingram, Foreman, Breida
WR- M Thomas, Metcalf, Keenan, Bourne, AB, Waddle, Green, D-Jax, Landry, St. Brown
TE- Waller, Hockenson
K- Tucker
D- Miami
Start: QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, TE, WR/RB, WR/TE, K, D

Yeah with the Collins situation falling apart, I am concerned about my second RB. But you're right. This season is almost over, so I can probably manage with what I have. Cook might not even be much of an upgrade for me. I have barely even played Carson, mostly using Lindsay and Cohen instead and they've gotten me to my 8-3 record. It's nice to see someone say the draft is loaded because I've heard exactly the opposite all season. Makes me a bit more excited about my 1sts.

I'm not a big Cook fan but in this situation I lean heavily on the Cook side.
