Keenan Allen Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Keenan Allen Value

Postby SurgeRUs » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:35 pm

I am stacked at WR and don't see Keenan being able to start for me except bye week fill in, but I don't want to have someone with that much value just wasting away on my bench. I have had a few inquiries from owners and our trade deadline is tomorrow. Below is one of the better offers I have received, unfortunately from my top competition (10-0) for the title this year and just missing a solid WR:

Give: Keenan Allen
Get: D. Foreman, 2019 1st (currently 1.3), 2020 1st (probably early)

Any Keenan Allen trades go down recently in anyone's leagues? Is this about in line with Keenan's value? If so, is it extremely stupid to send off a solid bench piece to my main competition that would instantly become his best receiver? I also do not have any 1sts in the next two years, which makes the offer a little more intriguing.

No way I give up KA for that.

The 2 1st round picks are a nice building block, but a more established player is a must

You don't want to waste someone with that much value on your bench, so you'd rather have 3 lesser talents sitting on your bench that will be less likely to ever help your team? Unless you're packaging him with something else and getting someone better, keep him on your bench.

I didn't say I liked the trade, I actually instantly rejected it. Just wondering from a value standpoint, for now, on what I can expect to get in return for KA if I were to part with him.

Like I said, I'd try to package him with one of your RBs and go after OBJ or Hopkins.

Your team is stacked. I’d want a good young upside player like Golladay along with picks if I were moving KA. Or like Goddard said, package up your bench studs and get 1 stud (OBJ/Nuk are prime examples as Goddard said) or even trying to get Kamara

This was along the lines of my thinking as I have tried to Nuk, Kamara, and Golladay (Just traded for OBJ and forgot to update sig.) and got turned down without any sign of talks at all. It seems the perceived value of KA in my league is not what it is on the forum, unfortunately. May have to hold onto KA and sit him behind AB, MT, and OBJ.

If I were you I'd trade AB instead of KA for a top RB

As others have said, I’d want a better (or at least more proven) player than Foreman coming back. I’d also want both picks to be 2020 1sts. Even if the 2019 1st is the 1.03, it’s likely to just become another WR that will never sniff your starting lineup.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

🦬PRIME🦬
QB: Hurts, Howell
RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert
TE: Hockenson, Chig, Trautman
Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits
$450 cap, 60 contract years

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
TE: Thomas $1/0, Hill $1/0, Parham $1/0

Saw Keenan/Aaron Jones/Boyd/mvs/Hunter Henry/2019 first traded for Barkley.

No way I make that deal. Recently saw Keenan go for Golladay+Godwin to a contender.
