Difference between M. Gordon and Chubb

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Difference between M. Gordon and Chubb

Postby Trevormortis » Fri Nov 16, 2018 9:05 am

Team 1 in sig. Currently in 1st place. In talks with the M. Gordon owner and he wants Chubb +. What would be a fair offer for M. Gordon. I was thinking either Chubb/Kupp/2019 late 1st or Chubb/2019 late first/2020 1st. Too much? Not enough? Or should I just hold Chubb and hope he can help me win it all this year?

Thoughts appreciated.

too much. im not sure why a chubb owner would wanna move him for gordon. i get gordon is a better win now piece this season but chubb isnt far behind and is a few years younger and less mileage. no chance im adding big time pieces to chubb to get gordon.

chubb and a 1st would be a better starting point imo

If I'm moving Gordon for Chubb, I might consider the Kupp + 1st offer. Gordon is a stud and will win you games on his own. I still don't get why so many people still hate him so much.

I’m holding unless you don’t need to add much. I’d roll with Chubb and look to strengthen your wrs with Kupp out.

I'd open with just Chubb + 2019 1st and see what he says. If he wants more, then I'd counter with Chubb + Kupp + 1st for Gordon + 2nd.

I'd be looking to package Penny and Kupp to get a major upgrade at WR rather than trade chubb+ for Gordon but I think you're in the ball park for his price. Chubb+late 1st+Kupp seems fair

If I am the Gordon owner and I'm not competing, I'd consider Gordon for Chubb+ a mid 1st. I wouldn't give any more than that if I have Chubb.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I'd start with Chubb and a 1st and see what happens.

But like some have said, I'm a little more worried about your WR group without Kupp. I'm going through the same thing with one of my squads.
