That's a good deal for Rodgers in SF. If your league properly values QB in that system, you could flip him for more.

Basically what I was thinking. That's cheap for Rodgers, but I'd look to flip him for more since you're rebuilding.

not horrible especially since it'll help out your pick placement but I'd look for a bit more, try swapping the second for another first or comparable player

1) It's cheap for Rodgers.

2) I'd pass.

In general, I loathe making a MAJOR trade with the sole purpose of flipping. Why don't we credit the other owner for having shopped Rodgers around? Why are we convinced that we'll find a/the deal that the owner couldn't? Even if we DO find a better deal, will it be so much better that it's worth the risk of setting our rebuild back?

In addition, I considered Jimmy G to be the most over-hyped player coming in 2018. I see no reason why he won't be over-hyped coming into 2019, too. You could likely sell him for close to what you'd get for Rodgers -- and that's a far less risky proposition than trading him to get Rodgers.

Caveat: There's one other way to approach this. Make the trade, and then trade your remaining 1st-round pick for a top-end WR and see if you can make a run. In a 14-team SF league, Wentz, Rodgers, and one or two studs elsewhere alone might make you competitive. I wouldn't blame you for taking this course (again, as I wrote earlier, this is cheap for Rodgers). But, if your plan is rebuild, then this trade is a crying pass.

I would make that move immediately. That is getting Rodgers for incredibly cheap. Jimmy has been wildly overrated the last year and a half with numbers not backing it up whatsoever.

Again as someone else mentioned, you could potentially flip Jimmy for more, but Rodgers is a huge piece with another 5 solid years remaining.

Seems pretty fair. It just depends on whether or not you believe in Garoppolo. In a rebuild, I'd consider keeping Garoppolo.

8 years younger for 4.5 points per game difference. Plus an early-ish 1st+2nd. This thread proves ARod is the overrated one. Jimmy doesn't have to turn into a stud in a deep SF, consistent top 15 QBs are worth a ton.

I think the value is fair, but I would pass. Jimmy is a young QB who did have a stretch at the end of last season that fueled the hype. His unfortunate injury put his value on hold, but leading into next season, it will be back up in superflex. Giving up the early 1st in a rebuild is where I'm turned off. You could keep the young QB and the 2 picks, using some or all of those pieces closer to your 2019 draft to get max value.

Pass too. ARod doesn't fit your team and you are relying on moving him for more than you are giving up to get him.

i would keep Jimmy and the picks in a rebuild...the thing about superflex/2QB leagues is that picks have a little more value. since QBs go earlier, other positional players drop to late picks..
that said, if you think you could trade rodgers to a competing team for more...then i would do it...but i suspect the Aaron Rodgers owner already pursued those options
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
