Good Enough Deal to Sell Davante Adams?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which Side?

Bell + Sutton for Adams seems like a nice return, assuming Bell resumes play as a top 10 RB next year.
12 Team - .5 PPR, .5PPFD, SF
QBx1 RBx2 WRx3 SFx1 FLEXx1

QB: Mahomes, Herbert, Mayfield, Foles, Trubisky, Eason
RB: CMC, Jacobs, CEH, David Johnson, Mike Davis, Bell, Royce Freeman
WR: Adams, Godwin, Robinson, Allen, McLaurin, Cooks, Marquise Brown, Crowder
TE: Kittle, Logan Thomas, Hurst, Kmet

2.03, 3.07, 4.10, 5.10

CAVEAT: I am of the opinion that Lev Bell does not play another down in the league, or if he does, will not be as effective as he has been. So consider that in the context of this response.

No, no, no and no again on both deals. If you accept either, it is a prime example of how not to do a rebuild and stay in perpetual donor and rebuild mode.

Adams is a cornerstone asset, this is the type of guy you build around, who will lead your team out of rebuild. Watkins, Godwin, and the picks are supporting assets, these are the pieces to acquire to put behind Adams.

Don't know the rest of your team, but if I'm moving Adams, it's for 2-3 assets, one of which is a future cornerstone guy (Watkins and Godwin do not fit that bill at all). I'm looking at Golladay/Sutton or one of KG/CS plus a Kerryon Johnson type, or one of KG/CS plus any two of the assets he offered (with a preference for one being a 1st round pick).

As far as the Bell offer, if you're rebuilding, it depends on the level of risk you want to take. I'd say chances are about 2:1 that the trade ends up being Adams for Sutton straight up which is just awful for you. If Bell comes back and if he is as effective as years past (both very big "ifs") it might pay off, but it could also set your rebuild back 2-3 years. Personally, I don't do it unless he adds another 1st as insurance. Good luck.
PSA - Haggling is NOT the same as negotiating.

Davante Adams, 2019 2nd (mid), 2020 2nd (late)
for
Sammy Watkins, Chris Godwin, 2019 1st (top 6), 2020 1st (late)

i pulled back a little on both Watkins and Godwin...sold most shares of Sammy (but i did trade alshon for Sammy in a rebuild league...so i still hope his value bounces back)...

Adams for Bell and Sutton is not terrible...but Bell comes with a lot of risk...if you can get a 1st on top of that deal, i would take it...
edit: in a rebuild, i would probably move Bell as soon as his value rebounds though

good luck and keep us updated
