This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Outside Looking In; Need Advice

Postby colonnaj94 » Mon Nov 12, 2018 9:56 am

What's up guys; for team 3 in my signature, I've been trying like crazy just to get into the playoffs this year.. but I remain on the outside, looking in.. I'm currently 3 games back in my division (I do play my division leader one more time this season) & also 2 games back from the second wild card..(We play double-headers every week) My question is.. Should I look to add a safe QB and/or a TE and make a run, or is what I have enough? Everett has been playing well the last few weeks; and I really can't trust Mariota, but he's been turning a corner these past few weeks.. And who knows if Fitzpatrick will even start for TB come playoff time..

If you suggest to add a QB, who would be a good target to get; without giving up too much of my future?

Your roster honestly looks light by a decent margin to me. If going for it, I'd look to buy low on Stafford or maybe target someone like Rivers (but I wouldn't give up young talent to do so in your current roster situation).

If you're looking to upgrade at QB maybe try Drake for a Matt Ryan level.

That's honestly the only major thing i would try to do with the team without giving up youth.

I hate telling people to fold it in, but your roster will be better off next year. I agree with the others, dont sell any youth just for a middling QB. I honestly might go for Jimmy G...

Your RB, WR and TE are all good, however theres no Gurley or Kamara to really win you a week. Thats where my expectations would be tempered with this roster, but in (essentially) a 16 teamer, its solid

Get rid of Drake and Coleman for a good QB. You're still rostering RGIII....why
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I have a few questions. Starting requirements for league? Is there a team out of contention with depth at qb? If there is who are the potential qb targets and what are those teams needs?

Just picked up RG3 this week with the Flacco news..
I would maybe consider getting rid of Drake; problem is earlier in the year I traded mahomes + a pick for ARob & Coleman to get more RB depth; so if I traded a RB for a QB; it wouldn’t make a ton of sense; would it? Should I look into trading someone like Mike Williams instead?
