Judge this Evans trade please!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Judge this Evans trade please!

Postby Gunnar997 » Sun Nov 11, 2018 8:05 pm

My 16 team dynasty leagues trade deadline was last night. One owner who is in 15th place has been trying to get Guice from me for awhile. The first place team just made a trade with him taking Zeke/Landry and giving him Bell/Evans. So the 15th place team came to me offering to move Evans. After hours of back and fourth we settled on,

Gave: Guice, Corey Davis, Early-Mid Second Round pick

Get: Mike Evans, Early-Mid Third round pick

The owner that traded him Bell is furious and demanding the trade to be reversed. I actually think this trade is good for both team. After Bell his other RBs are Brieda and Jamaal Williams. Which next season both probably are out of starting roles.

Is this a decent trade or did I absolutely “destroy him” like the other owner says? I also think his Bell trade is questionable but I didn’t say anything.

That's a pretty even trade, I actually like the Guice/Davis side better.

As for him demanding the trade be reversed, sounds like he's one of those guys that doesn't understand how trade vetoes work. Trade vetoes exist for collusion and collusion only. Even if the trade were terrible, he has no say in it. People are free to trade their players however they see fit, so long as they aren't doing it to purposely help a team win. This is a fairly even trade based on the managers' personal valuations, and I see no problem with it.

Copy and paste this statement to share with him if you want
10 Man IDP, .75 ppr, Big Play Bonus, TE Prem, 2 QB, 1-3 RB, 2-4 WR, 2 TE, 2 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 4 DB, 34 Keepers (17 off - 17 IDP)

DT: Simmons, Cox, Oliver, Vea
DL: Bosa, Hunter, Heyward, Greenard, Odeyingbo
LB: Watt, White, Cunningham, Kirksey
DB: Collins, Duggar, J Reid, Clark, Edmunds

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE
QB: Tua, Jameis, Cam, Taysom
RB: Taylor, Javonte, CEH
WR: Jefferson, Nuk, Diontae, Juju, Shepard, Mooney, Robby Anderson
TE: Henry, Gesicki, Brevin, Cook

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE

Piling on, give me Guice, Davis, and the 2nd.

That other owner shouldn't be playing dynasty football if that's the way he feels. I would not want to be in a league with someone like that.

He robbed the guy with his trade, and I think the guy got the better of your deal.

Piling on. The guy complaining is the one who trade raped the 15th place team. Your trade was extremely fair. You may have even overpaid by a little.

Thanks everyone! I wasn’t really all about moving Guice and Davis but going into next season only starting two RBs and already having Gurley and Chubb I felt comfortable enough to try to upgrade Davis. Appreciate everyone’s responses on this.
