QB1 for potential?

I have been offered Anthony Miller - who I believe has some serious potential going forward - for Carson Wentz.

I have Andy Dalton and Sam Darnold as my other 2, so not much to rely on. But QB’s can usually be easily replaced (unless they’re elite, which Wentz appears to have the makings of).

I made him a counter offer as I said I was unsure what I’d gain from this. I already have quite a deep WR corps but none that really stand out other than maybe Cooper Kupp.

I made an offer for a multi trade.

Even then, I’m loathed to lose a potential elite QB, who puts up regular big numbers.

What would you guys do? Where would you put Wentz in any trade deal?

Need to but league size, starting requirements, etc. in your post, so we can give some-what of an informed opinion. In a vacuum, no I wouldn't trade Wentz for that.

Team has taken a battering this year, and I took over from someone who clearly didn’t care. Made a few trades and managed to get a few wins this year, but I’m scoring very low.

I don't like either trade for you at all, and I'm a Miller fan as well (as you can see in both my sigs). Not a Carson or Rosen fan though. You can build around Wentz more so than the other pieces.

I’m not a fan of Rosen, but I like Carson, and I have his handcuff too. That was the main thing drawing me in. If it was a straight swap, Wentz for Miller then I would have declined.

I’m just thinking mainly of future now. I have no chance in my league with a couple of guys running away with it. I’ll most likely end up with 1.02 pick in the draft.

not even a little close for me...and i have been known to trade QBs
right after last season, i gave Wilson and got Alex Smith and 1st (that is currently 1.01-1.03) in a 1QB league...i drafted Mahomes in the rookie draft and felt pretty confident he could be my starting QB
i don't really like the state of the Cardinals...so i don't think Rosen will be helpful for a year or 2...
if you feel confident in Darnold then trade Wentz...but you need to get a 1st added to Miller to make that trade
i am not a fan of the multi trade either

Give me Wentz for sure over Miller..
I also don't like your counter either because Lockett is a somewhat valuable piece that you're giving up.. Carson has definitely been playing above expectations, but Penny is supposed to be the long-term answer in SEA (if He ever gets a real opportunity) You should be able to get more for a top 2 dynasty QB IMO.

I’d hold Wentz here. I like Miller, but you have a elite qb set up for the next 10+ years. Unless your blown away I’d pass.

No way i'd trade Wentz for that. Hopefully your trade partner hasn't jumped on your counter. Pull it quickly if he hasn't.

That’s exactly how I was feeling to be honest. I’m new to the dynasty scene though and already made some big mistakes - so wanted some advice to make sure I wasn’t just being silly.
