League mate and I were discussing trades. A trade of TY Hilton + Will Fuller for Julio got brought up....

He stated that was a terrible offer for Julio. I stated that play/age of Will Fuller more than made up the difference between Julio and TY. Will Fuller even put up more pts than Julio from weeks 2-8 (when Fuller was healthy), and is 24 yrs old compared to 30 yrs....and it's Julio for Fuller AND TY Hilton...

Anyways we decided to make it a poll and let the community decide. Please pick a side, if the TY & Fuller side and/or the Fair Trade side is favored than the trade will go through. Here's both teams (pre trade) so ppl can give an educated opinion.

I feel like it's a win-win, I get a better shot at a title this yr, and they get to rebuild their roster without totally tearing it down (either way they get younger) but maybe that's just me, what does the community say?

Why are you letting the community decide? Just because it's fair value doesn't mean a trade has to be accepted...I think it's a fair offer, but I probably wouldn't sell Julio for that.

I think it is fair but I would rather have Julio.

Julio is slightly more valuable than TY (both aging WR's who will depreciate quickly)

Fuller is a potential stud, with major injury concerns. I've learned the hard way that most of the dynasty community puts little value in Fuller, so that might be the issue you're running into here. Someone in my league told me they didn't even value him at a second r

Also, almost guaranteed that the other owner is going to throw a fit if this voting stands as is, as the Fuller/TY side received 0 votes yet the "fair trade side" got the most hence putting the trade through lol.

I'd take Jones in a vacuum, but it depends on the context. competing, rebuilding, chances of winning etc.
I would worry about the the red flags surrounding Fuller though: breaks down easily, and iirc he didn't do great when Keke was playing (but it was only a couple of games).

Julio all day, and it's really not close. I think Julio is worth more than TY and Fuller. Julio > TY, and Hilton is only a year younger than him. I think the gap is bigger than Fuller. Plus Fuller has had injury issues literally his entire career. The guy can never stay healthy longer than a couple games.

This is not that close for me.

Interesting, I would of thought ppl would of advised the Julio owner to sell.

I mean look at his team and record, and imagine that was your team...what would you do? hold firm? or begin to sell/rebuild?

the best thing on the team is Julio...and he's 30, not exactly a piece you can build around for yrs to come. His value is likely at it's peak right now. Hopefully Golladay becomes something, but by the time that happens, Julio has likely started to fade, and you're back were you started with one viable WR option moving forward.

While TY + Fuller isn't exactly an overpay, I thought it was a very fair offer.

I must just value Fuller much higher than the community. IMO he's a WR8 - WR15 when healthy. Oh well, prob should just keep my youth anyways. The allure of a championship is just so tempting

Of course you should try and sell Julio now if you aren't planning on competing for a few years. But don't undersell. Find an owner who will offer something better.

I guess that's the difference. I think the combination of TY and Fuller is worth more the Julio. I must just have a different valuation on these players than the community I suppose.

I don't think anyone would advise the Julio owner not to sell. I think everyone would advise them to sell. That doesn't mean you give him away for peanuts.

Yeah, no. Not even close. I'm willing to bet there's not a single person that would agree with that. Fuller is more around the WR30 range for me. MAYBE WR25. But he's 100% not a top 8 WR. That's just absurd.
