For the 1st team in sig, I offered a late 1st 11-14 for MVScantling and Chris Herndon

what do you think? Im rebuilding and MVS looks almost worth a late first and herndon doesnt look bad imo either

I offered to throw in Jordan Akins and Brandon Powell as I figure I will have to cut them anyway

It’s a good offer but I think you are off staying put. In 16 team leagues depth matters more than shallower team leagues. You have two rookie starters. You would hope to get MVS value out of that draft pick. Those are foundation type players. No need to move them for one shot in the dark.

Its funny I had a poll last week and everyone said keep the 1st. Now I think people will say take MVS. It wouldn't surprise me if a 1st isn't enough.

If the rookie draft were to be today I think mvs would be drafted late first or early second behind sutton, moore and Kirk and ahead of Washington, Pettis and Gallup. So I'd say hes bottom Of the first tier guys or top of the second tier of guys. I picked him up on waivers and would NOT trade him for a second in 2019.

A first should get the deal done, but I can see why someone wouldn't want to trade him just yet. I have MVS and it would be hard to turn down a first. I drafted him in the 7th

I agree, but I have 3 firsts and this is projected to be the latest. I feel like Herndon compensates for the difference in the 1st and MVS. Maybe a little to my advantage. Your thoughts?

I think Herndon is worth at least a late 2nd at this point, so yeah I think MVS + Herndon for late first is solid value.

E: I offered my 2nd (currently 14th pick) and it was snap accepted. Makes me wonder if I could have gotten more, but still happy with the value, especially since I had an open taxi spot for MVS and I have a bunch of mid-late firsts in this draft (which means that anyone whom I really want won't fall to 14).

As a reference, I recently traded MVS for 2 early 2nds, but I'm having seller's remorse at the moment.

A 1st is fair value, but at this point I wouldn't sell him for that.

You'd be hoping to draft a guy that goes to the exact situation MVS is already in, so why do it? It's a lateral move at best.

Just hold MVS unless you get offered a 1st in the mid range, or some other overpay offer.

The owner in my league just moved him and an early 3rd for a late 2nd..... needless to say i wish i had made that deal myself. I would probably take MVS over a late 1st at this point but wouldn't fault anyone for taking the pick.
