Trade offer for Antonio Brown

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade offer for Antonio Brown

Postby jojo5151 » Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:19 am

For team 2 in sig
Just recently acquired Watkins & was thinking of flipping him for Antonio Brown. His owner is 2-6 .AB & Ben seemed to have iron out their issues & I think Brown has a monster 2nd half w/ a juicy playoff schedule, i'm currently 6-2 & in 2nd.

Would Watkins & Marlon Mack/ or Devin Cook be too much to give up in a non-ppr for Brown?

I'd easily do it with Mack. I might do it with Cook as well if I'm competing, but that one's closer.

If I were an owner moving AB it would take all of Mack, Cook and Watkins.

Yeah, you are not close, would probably need all three, and that might not be enough.

Seriously? Ab's 30 yrs old & it's not a ppr league. I would think one starting rb & Watkins would be enough...

Top WRs don't just vanish at 30. Wouldn't shock me if AB continues to be a top 12 WR until 34-35 (with top 5 WR potential for the next 2ish yrs).

You don't just trade that for "one starting rb & Watkins." Esp if you have a good chance at competing for the next couple yrs.

To get Brown you'd have to overpay, or most owners will just ride with him into the sunset, taking the wins until he decides to retire

ppr or not, brown has been a top 3 fantasy asset for years, and he'll be at that level for a couple more seasons.
Watkins is barely a WR2, Mack had two good games, Cook hasn't even played much more than two games in his career.

not nearly enough
