Conner for Chubb?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Conner for Chubb?

Postby jojo5151 » Fri Oct 19, 2018 10:23 pm

For team 1 in sig.
Currently 6-0 but with no guarantees regarding Conner now might be the time to trade him. You think Conner straight up for Chubb is a fair deal? Chubbs owner is currently 2-4.

I'd take that too but believe Cubb will cost more.

Prior to the Hyde trade, you could have maybe pulled this off...following the Hyde trade, theres very little chance you can get Chubb for Connor straight up. It's worth a shot, but, you will have to add to Connor imo.

I'd rather have Conner long term. Especially in PPR. In 2019 would you rather have the lead back in Pitt or the lead back in CLE?

No guarantees that Conner is long term anything. Chubb has the draft capital and is already top dog there with no competition for lead back. If Bell comes back, then it’s a committee for the rest of the year. And I’m just not convinced that there won’t be a committee next year in Pitt.

I like Chubb short term and long term better.

We have seen some nice runs by Chubb, but that is different than being the main cog. Chubb has just as many question marks as Conner, maybe more. Pitt has typically used one workhorse back for as long as I can remember, and Conner has shown he can be a 3 down RB for then going forward. If the biggest question mark you have about him is Lev Bell coming back next season, I'll take those odds. I don't see any way Bell is back with Pitt next year.

Give me Conner long term, especially if he is the man in Pitt next year over whoever is the RB in Cleveland. That Pitt offense is something everyone should want shares in.

I'm trying to win this year so mostly I'm interested in having Chubb as a lead back instead of Conner in a timeshare, I actually think Conner might be the better back.

Cleveland currently ranks 5th in the league in rushing yards per game. Pittsburgh is 26th. I think you have your answer.

I'd rather have players from the offense being run by Mayfield rather than whomever replaces Roethlisberger.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
