Chubb for a high 2019 1st

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chubb for a high 2019 1st

Postby zoster80 » Fri Oct 19, 2018 2:18 pm

This is for PLP, below....

I think I know the answer to this one, but wanna check what you guys think....

I'm in a rebuild, I own this guy's first high first probably top 3 pick(one of three 1-5 teams including me). I still am going to own four other firsts if I make the move, two probably are top 6.

So he wants to do Chubb for his first back. I rather build though wideouts, but a stable of Guice, Sony and Chubb would like nice for a few years....

What you do you think?

Gotta go with Chubb here. Think people would've said that before the trade

Fair trade. I'd make it since you already own so many other 1sts.

Go with Chubb. If this was the 2017 class no, but there isn't a stable of mixon, CMC, Hunt's and Fournettes walking thru the door next year.

I'd go with Chubb after the Hyde trade. Also makes sense given how many picks you have. What players in the 2019 rookie class are you taking over Chubb at this point? If that pick had a chance to be Saquon Barkley then I'd say probably not, but there's no clear top guy in that class right now. I suppose that could change as we get closer, but for now that looks like a great value for any rookie in this year's class.

Chubb for me. I don't think the '19 draft is great for RB's. Chubb has the potential to be special.
QB: Mayfield, Bridgewater, Fitzpatrick
RB:David Johnson, Mixon, Chubb, James Robinson, Mattison, K Vaughn
WR: AJG, K Allen, D Adams, JuJu, C Godwin, D Slayton, S Miller
TE: Engram, Kittle
K: Succup
Def.: Arizona

Champions 2006 and 2018. Second a few times in between, again in 2019.

No PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE) 1K 1 1 Def
Drop 7 ea yr. 20 player roster with up to 2 IR

He's waffling now, since he got bombarded with offers, the price has gone up to two firsts or his first and a decent prospect, which Guice, Sony are off the table, besides Godwin and Gallup I really don't have much else to offer that he would want since he's rebuidling too, but I need those young WR's since I'm weak there...

I can send another 1st and end up with 3 instead of 5, but I feel like that selling early, when the price of firsts are only bound to grow....I sent a 2nd one I can give him the almost sure to be 1.12, so basically a top 3 pick and the 1.12 for Chubb, still the right move at this point in the rebuild?
