Interesting Offer

Postby sjcourtney56 » Fri Oct 19, 2018 1:37 pm

I was offered TY Hilton for my Calvin Ridley.

Team is in signature, I am 7-0 (some weeks are doubleheaders). It is 1/2 point ppr. I don't think i necessarily need TY but he is an upgrade for the short term. Do I take it, add the more talented depth option in case Diggs gets banged up or do I stay the course and keep my young depth?

Any advice is always much appreciated.
Team:
QB = Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton
RB = Todd Gurley, Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, Kareem Hunt, James Robinson Lemical Perine
WR = Michael Thomas, Stefon Diggs, Mike Evans, JuJu Smith-Schuster, AJ Brown, CeeDee Lamb, N'Keal Harry, Sammy Watkins,
TE = OJ Howard, Mark Andrews, Ian Thomas, Eric Ebron

Would you start TY? Seems like you have enough between WR and RB that youd be better off letting Ridley progress. Not sure of your starting requirements though

Starting requirements are pretty wide open, can start 1rb with 4wr's or 4rb's with 1wr if I wanted to

Ok so looking at your team it's likely 2 RB and 2 WR each week plus the traditional flex. That flex could be Cook, Chubb, Arob, even Cooper in a pinch. I dont think I'd trade for TY in this situation

It's actually closer than I thought it'd be since Ridley's shown he can already produce this year. Hilton will be more consistent and is still probably worth more, so I'd try to get a 2nd or something else on top of Ridley.

Yeah that is kind of what I was thinking, for me to give up the youth of Ridley I think I would like a pick with TY

I don't see the addition of TY helping that much as you have depth. I would just stick with Ridley who looks like a contributor this year, and definitely in the future. We are only about 2 seasons away from seeing a possible drop off in production from Julio, and the same could be said for TY. Ridley secures your future at WR w/Ryan throwing the ball.
12 TEAM SUPERFLEX, TE Premium, 25 man rosters
QB - | Rodgers | Herbert | Mills
RB - CMC | Chubb | Dobbins | Keaontay Ingram
WR - McLaurin | Deebo | Waddle | Gabriel Davis | Elijah Moore | Mooney | C Ridley | Jameson Williams | Pickens | Alec Pierce | Wan'dale Robinson | Justyn Ross | B Edwards
TE - M Andrews | Friermuth

2023 Picks: 1st round(2), 2nd round(2), 3rd round (2)
