Alshon for Cooper Straight up in a rebuild

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Cooper has all the makings of a dog. I suppose he could be good with a change of scenery, but that seems to end poorly far more than it works out. Not a good sign that he is being shopped this early. Alshon on the other hand has multiple WR1 seasons, still in his prime and tied to an elite QB. I am keeping Alshon here regardless if I am in a rebuild or not because I think you should target assets more likely to appreciate (picks) than a guy who just isn't as good as his owners want him to be.

I thought Jeffries has been injured to much to have multiple wr1 seasons. 16 team leagues maybe?

try for Coop and a 2nd but if you can I'd do it. Alshon has had a slew of injuries in his career and has always won with physical gifts, I don't see him being a guy who can play into his 30s (he's an older 28 which isn't horrible but your team seems to be looking at a 2ish year rebuild)

I think Jeffery should be able to get you a better player than Cooper.

2013: 98/1426/11 WR8 in my 0.5 PPR
2014: 85/1133/10 WR11 in my 0.5 PPR
2015: Missed 7 games, but still carried a high average per game that would have landed him in the WR1 conversation
2016: Was suspended for 4 games, but didn't miss any for injury and still averaged 11 points in my 0.5 PPR despite brutal QB play

So, no...he has 2 definite and an argument for 3 WR1 seasons on his resume in a 12-team league. He has also been a Top-10 guy in 2 of the 3 weeks since he and Wentz came back from injury this year. If you want to trade him, let the production gap between Cooper and Alshon widen (and it will) over the next few weeks and move him for Cooper and a 1st or a package of picks that are guaranteed to appreciate in value, unlike Cooper which is far from a guarantee about anything.

Cooks a good target maybe? The option is Will Fuller + a pick possibly.

Alshon with another strong game...WR6 on the week (pending what happens on MNF). Either way, he is going to finish as a Top-10 WR in his 3rd of 4 weeks since he came back. He should be able to keep putting up solid numbers...I hope you didn't sell for that dog, Cooper!
