Sony Michel Trade (With Golladay?)

So another owner reached out to me about Michel. He has, what is currently, the 1.02 and the 1.10 for 2019. I currently have the 1.03 and the 1.08.

He wants to know what I want for Michel. He owns Golladay. I'm thinking of asking for Golladay and the 1.02.

I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Should I try to ask for more off the bat since he came to me? Is that enough for Michel, too much?

I'm curious what you all think. Michel has been even better than I expected, and I was not planning on trading him, but if I can get a lot back, it might be worth it.

I'm not sure yet if he would be willing to trade Golladay, but he said he would be willing to give up a couple players and a couple of picks.

It's a greedy asking price but you need Michel on your team more than you need Golladay. Start off with the 1.02 and see where it goes.

I think you're already asking for a lot, so I wouldn't ask for more. Make that offer though and see what he says.

I'd say that 1.02 >= Golladay >= Michel. I very much doubt anyone would pay Golladay + 1.02 for Michel.

The OP said he's not actively looking to move Michel unless its an overpay. Michel>=Golladay with Michel having the edge based on positional scarcity. Both have super bright futures and while Golladay would definitely improve your WR's this year and the future, he would not help your overall team this year compared to keeping Michel on your squad. You're 4-2 and 3rd in points. Wait to see how your season goes before making a move for the long term. You could very well be in playoff contention by week 12

Thanks all. Good advice. I agree I would be asking for an overpay, but that's what I would need to move Michel. I am currently in 3rd though, so I don't know that I want to move him at all. Tevin Coleman would end up being my RB2 and that would not be ideal. The thought of having the 1.02, 1.03, 1.08, and Golladay would be nice though... I agree he probably would not go for it either. He's in full rebuild mode and is looking to get younger.

Then a deal may not be made, which is totally fine. Michel is a stud. If you think you'd rather have the WR over RB during the off-season there's a high chance you can revisit that later and maybe work something out like giving him your 1.08 for his 1.02 or something along those lines.

Any chance you could get Golladay for McKinnon + late 2019 1st or Golladay for early 2019 1st? Those would both be a good win-now move.

If you want Golladay/1.2 for Michel, I think you can save time & just let the other owner know that you're not interested in trading him. Enjoy the RB production & move on
