Trade Options for Boyd in 6 Flex PPR, PP1stDowns

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade Options for Boyd in 6 Flex PPR, PP1stDowns

Postby NoNoNav » Wed Oct 17, 2018 10:58 am

Picked Boyd up off the waiver earlier this season and have an opportunity to win now. 3rd highest points scored, in a rather deep league (6 Flex Spots), I'm wondering if I should cash out for a chance at the ship this year.

Have been offered Watkins + Tate for Boyd, or Shady + Tate, both of which are probably overpays, but Boyd has been awesome and the other owner really wants him. I think I could get Shady + Tate + 2.01-2.04 for him to be honest - but am worried I'm selling a future stud.

This is my lineup this week (considering Conner, Allison, and Baldwin byes)

QB: Wentz/Goff
RB: Kamara
WR: Landry
WR: Boyd
TE: Rudolph
Flex: Zeke
Flex: Drake
Flex: Hogan
Flex: Latavius Murray
Flex: Kelvin Benjamin
Flex: Doctson

Thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about whether you're trading a future stud...Watkins + Tate is somewhere around top 30 value. Also worth mentioning that your format really rewards WR depth, which makes Tate + Watkins even better. Your format also makes McCoy less valuable so I'd avoid that deal.

Also if I were you I'd be looking to trade one or both of Zeke and Kamara for multiple receivers. No reason to have multiple stud RBs in that format if you can find a decent value for them...especially given that you're flexing KB, Doctson, Hogan and Murray right now.
