Guice

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Guice

Postby darewood11 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 6:35 am

Is penny and a mid first enough to trade guice away? I took over this orphan this season and its in need of major overhaul. I was really high on penny before the season as i had him 1.03 right behind guice and right in front of michel. Ive kind of soured on penny as mostly because i do not like pete carrol as coach. Has that much really changed tho? Any thoughts id appreciate

Not for me. Penny can't even beat out Mike Davis for touches.

Not sure how Guice's value is worth that much, it's fine if you would take that, but that is extremely over valuing a guy who has never played a down and tore his ACL.

There is no reason to move Guice at this point for me. Instant starter next year and he is young

Penny looks awful IMO. I would much rather take my shot with Guice. Selling Guice for Penny and a 1st is a loss to me. If you drafted Guice you most likely used top 3 pick...same can be said with Penny but penny looks like a bust. So in my mind its Guice for 1st which is not enough.

Both player's values should be pretty much the same as it was before the season started. I'm not worried about Guice's ACL tear and Penny struggling in his rookie year shouldn't be that concerning either. I think Penny and a mid 1st seems fair, but I'd probably stick with Guice as I wouldn't have taken that before the season either.

Problem is he has barely seen field. Way to early to declare bust here

Penny went 12th overall in our 16 team rookie draft and that was before he showed how pathetic he was. I wouldn’t trade a 2nd for him or want anything to do with him.

I'm not declaring busy, but I'd want a 2nd or so on top of Penny (I wasn't a fan in the off-season, and I'm looking right at the moment). But asking for two firsts and Penny is crazy
