Mariota value in superflex

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mariota value in superflex

Postby SteveMaddensShoes » Wed Oct 17, 2018 12:31 am

I should probably wait to sell Mariota but have an owner asking about price. In my league, sig below, we are all new to superflex so I don’t really know what to ask any more than he knows what to offer.

He has D.J., Tyreek, Cooks, Cohen, Courtland Sutton, Trey Burton, 2019 1st and 2nd, 20202 1st and 2nd. Other owner is a top 4 record right now but no 2nd qb

I was thinking Mariota is worth 2 1sts? Or Sutton and 2020 1st? Idk...

I think that's fair for a guy who is way down right now. Also benefits and makes sense for your team. You have 3 other future QB, excluding the Smiths, with Chad Kelly possibly getting a chance soon.

Biggest need is WR and depth with those large starting requirements. I'd go after the Sutton deal or maybe add a pick to Mariota and try for Cooks. Doubt he does Tyreek.

Um no...I would not pay more than a late 1st for Mariota right now.

I think Sutton + is a decent starting ground, but agree that Mariota is not worth two firsts. Also worth noting its not a great time to be selling Mariota with how that team has looked

I would want nothing to do with a Mariota, even in Superflex (non 2qb). Most skill players outperform him.

He has had a tough schedule, been hurt, and the team looks terrible. I’m not sure it’s all his fault. I think I’m just holding and hoping the entirety of his career is what he will return to eventually rather than this year and last as a valuation.

Now is probably a terrible time to sell Mariota, but I think he's worth more than a late 1st. Sutton and a 1st would be fair, but might be hard to get that now.

if an owner is asking, then let him formulate an offer. If I could get 2 1sts for him, I would take it, and grab a QB next year with 1 of those 1sts if the value is there.

Was thinking two firsts about a week or two ago, now don't know if i'd take a late first for him but an early oh yeah

Tbh Mariota is at the point where if I NEEDED a QB to start weekly in a 2 QB league and someone came to me offering him, I'd probably pass. Investing in a QB in SF gets expensive and there's no reason to pay any price for a QB like Mariota who is an utter disappointment.
