Woods/1st+ for Odell for a Contender

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Woods/1st+ for Odell for a Contender

Postby TheRascal88 » Tue Oct 16, 2018 9:13 am

My team below is 5-1 and doing quite well. I'm looking to capitalize on Woods' hot start by pairing him with a 1st and other picks/players to upgrade. It feels stupid to even ask this question but as a legit contender, would you trade Woods/1st for Odell considering the dumpster fire that is Eli/Giants?

Obviously, they are on a different level talent-wise, but from a short-term (this year) viewpoint, is it better to have Woods in a high-powered Rams offense or Odell in whatever we are calling the Giants offense right now?

Again, it seems silly to even ask this question and, long-term, Odell is in another stratosphere but I'm thinking only about winning this season.

Is this trade even an option? I can't imagine any OBJ owner accepting that. Even if you think you have a better shot at competing this year with Woods, I'm still making that trade if it's on the table.

Yes this is stupid to even ask. I kid I kid.

On a real note as a betting man I would put my money that OBJ outscores Woods by years end THIS year and like you said OBJ is FAR better than Woods long term. This is a win now and later move that is awesome. I highly doubt this gets accepted or even countered back but if you have this offer you need to make this move ASAP

Can you then flip Beckham for a RB1? If so, I'd do it. It's fairly cheap for Beckham, even with Eli limiting his production.

No OBJ owner is accepting that unless recent head trauma incident
