Tyler Boyd for a late 19 1st?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Tyler Boyd for a late 19 1st?

Postby kamihamster » Mon Oct 15, 2018 3:42 pm

For my home league in sig. My WR core consist of Juju, Josh Gordon, and John Brown/ARob right now. I play the match up between Brown and ARob every week. I'm pretty much starting 4 RBs every week (non-PPR with 2 flex spots) so really I'm wondering if this kind of move is smart. Fitz could get healthy and round to form, or he could be done. Boyd would be a solid WR2 on my team and could be a longer term asset for the future once Green starts to decline/retire. What say you?

I bought for a late first last week. As a Green owner he really helps cement those Bengals points in my lineup. Probably won me the week.

Here's the thread of me asking last week

Is your league PPR or not? I feel it changes things a lot depending on format. The difference between a mid WR1 to a mid WR2 in non PPR is like 2.5 points a game. Not sure my team needs that little of a boost, or if saving the 1st for later in the year if injuries strike.

My league is PPR and I do like him more in those leagues as he looks like a consistent catch player.

I like him for a late 1st either way personally. I mean he's gotta be in the startup range of guys like Ridley, DJ Moore at least I would think and those guys were late 1sts last year.

Who knows what next year brings?!

But no doubt if it's not a 'need' now holding the pick can't hurt either.

I've been holding Boyd since he was drafted. I like him more than most. I would give up a late 1st easily for him.
