Dalvin Cook vs Breida/1st/2nd

Postby Dynasty_Analyst » Thu Oct 11, 2018 6:50 am

Sent a trade I didn't think would be accepted. Packaged Breida and a mid to most likely later 1st and 2nd round pick for Cook for the team in my 1st signature. Figured it would be harder to get him or is his value really that much in the tank right now?

Depends on where your first is I suppose. His value is all over the place with his injury history in 2 years. I think he is a great buy low candidate, but the Cook owner in my league tried to tell me Cook was better than Saquon. Needless to say Cook won't be moving my my league at all!

I own cook and he's a frustrating player to have to be honest. Even when they say he's good its hard to start him because the Vikings want to be very careful with him. I'm hoping he gets it together at some point but right now as a Cook owner depending on where that first was I would of considered that trade also.

Well I was lucky once figured I'd try again just traded for him again in my sig 2 for matt breida, Aaron Jones, a 1st, and a 3rd rounder. Slightly steeper this time but still just giving bench guys. People loving themselves some Breida. Im all in on Dalvin Cook though now

Good luck with that man. The talent is there but it's also useless if he can't stay on the field.

I hope you can come back at the end of the season and say you did good.

Breida is probably just as frustrating to own when it comes to injuries.

Honestly if he doesn't pan out worst case I didnt give up any foundational players. I did lose draft picks but they'll be later and my both my teams are young. I'm thinking though that a starting RB core of Barkley and Cook is going to be lethal in both my leagues for years to come
