It’s still early enough into the season where he could be a buy, a sell, or a hold - depending on your view of him.

If you liked him coming out, when he was what - a late 1st in rookie drafts? Then maybe he’s a “buy high” if you can get him for a projected early 2nd or a 2020 First, etc.

If you think he’s fake, then sell him now and I’m sure you can get at LEAST a random 2nd (and if you got him off of waivers, then you get immediate profit, yay!)

If you’re unsure, hold.

Remember, he’s not Tyrell Williams or Robby Anderson or Cam Meredith where he’s a dude out of nowhere, suddenly producing. He was a top WR prospect only a couple years ago. At some points in the 2016 draft process, many people had him as the 1B to Treadwell’s 1A at the top of the WR class.

He also had a very productive rookie season. Fed by volume rather than sheer talent-driven big plays, but still. He could be a poor man’s Devante Adams in terms of his career arc.

It's not like people are paying mid-first for him. I'd be lucky to get a late first for him in my league, which is what I paid for him in 2016. He was pretty much worthless 3 weeks ago, but that doesn't mean that his value is inflated...I think it just means that people were too quick to dismiss him after last season. Value is probably back to about where it was after his rookie season.

Watching the end of last week's game it looks like he's become something of a security blanket for Dalton. He had 7 targets on the game winning drive including 2 on fourth down. Was a 2nd round NFL draft pick and late 1st round rookie draft pick just two years ago. Solid rookie season. Injury hampered sophomore campaign but finished it strong (5/91/1 final game).

I'm definitely not selling for a 2nd, and I probably wouldn't sell for a late 1st. In 2016 I thought he was worth spending a late first on, and I'm not going to sell for that now that he's had 3 straight strong outings (and 4 in 5 games). I guess I can see the attraction of locking in a quick profit if you picked him up off waivers though.

I would say his value is an early 2nd or even late 1st

He's doing everything you'd want out of a guy taken there. Took some time to develop, hence not early/mid 1st, but now is putting up yardage and getting targets and has the Qbs trust as a guy to look to

3 straight 20+ games is hard to ignore and simply dismiss as a fluke

I wouldn't buy for a late 1st, but I'd turn down an offer of early 2nd. Didn't realize til he blew up I owned him in both my main leagues lol

Why? What has Royce got that's so great over Boyd? He doesn't catch the ball, just got hurt, and is being outplayed by a UDFA that is taking any value he has beyond being a TD dependent 2 down grinder. I'd take Boyd, unless it's Standard scoring easily.

EDIT Sorry, didn't see the date of your comment, you didn't have the info I was commenting on, unless you can travel through time. LOL
