Kareem Hunt for 2019 1.01 +

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kareem Hunt for 2019 1.01 +

Postby Royal26 » Sun Sep 30, 2018 7:32 pm

My team is 0-4 after this week. So it's time to turn to 2019. I was asked to give up Kareem Hunt for my own 2019 1st (could gaurentee this to be 1.01) and the 1.02-1.04 depending where the team finishes (the worst team on paper).

My team is in the signature. Do you guys like the picks to help build around Elliott, and Allen? Or do you hold Hunt and hope for a rebound?

I wasn't interested in selling low on Hunt, but I think that might be top dollar.
12 team Salary Cap League (PPR):
20 man rosters plus 5 taxi squad spots,
Starters: QB, 5 flex, K, D
Flex lineup requirements: 0 RB, 5 WR / 1 RB, 4 WR / 2 RB, 3 WR / 3 RB, 2 WR.
WR **can be WR or TE**

Qb: Mahomes
RB: Swift, Mitchell
WR:
K: Sanders, Zuerloin
D/ ST: Panthers, Seahawks

Draft picks:
2022: 1.4, 1.11, 2.3, 2.10
2023: 4 1sts, 1 2nd, 1 3rd
2024: 2 1sts, 1 2nd, 1 3rd

I’d strongly consider it since you only have to start 1 RB

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but it reads like a MASSIVE red flag to me: How are you going to guarantee that you finish dead last, especially given some of the elite players on your roster?

If I'm selling Hunt, I would be selling off other noncore pieces as well. So Cousins, Gordon, Stills are all gone as well. So I wouldn't be tanking, but my team wouldn't be able to win much.

This looks great now... the picks turned into 1.02 and 1.03. As an Elliott owner who dealt with the the on-again off-again suspension last season, I'm glad to be free of whatever happens to Hunt.

At this point, you should be thankful anyone is offering even one 1st. I'd sell for that pretty easily.

I bet the other owner feels sick to his stomach giving you all those top picks. You dodged a bullet on that one nice job making the trade
