Rudolph vs Njoku

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rudolph vs Njoku

Postby Jigga94 » Thu Sep 20, 2018 8:57 pm

Thinking of dealing for Njoku. Want to include Rudplph in the deal but he is currently my only TE with Henry on IR. Bad idea or do you think Njoku will be startable soon?

I think it will take a little time, but I still believe Njoku will come alive this year. I'd imagine you'd have to add a decent piece with Rudolph. Maybe Ekeler? Hines? If you had another QB I'd say Flacco would be good value on top of Rudolph to equal Njoku. But looks like you may need him (unless Baker starts).

I’d rather hang onto Rudolph but they are close in my opinion.

Flacco is an option, but the other team doesnt need him. I'd be reluctant to add pieces because of my current downgrade at TE

Added Anthony Miller. Got it done. Probably go pick up ASJ or Hooper

I think you overpaid if you gave up Miller and Rudolph. Hopefully it works out, but Miller will probably be worth more than Njoku in a year or two.

Bit of an overpay, but you took WR depth and solidified your TE for the foreseeable future.

I think I’d be using some wr depth to upgrade at the position. If a rebuilding team has a top te I’d be targeting that team.

Definitely an overpay, however we keep 14. Likeliness of me keeping 8 WR is unlikely again. Miller COULD be great but who knows if he even gets kept after this year.
