For my 1st team in my sig.
It's early in the season but I'm looking to shore up my RB position. I lost McKinnon, Fournette is banged up, Burkhead isn't getting much run, and Freeman seems to be in a full blown committee. I have Ingram coming back in a few weeks but in the meantime I'm less than enthused with the RBs I have to choose from.
I have a loaded WR group that I could trade from but I'd rather trade from my picks.
I currently have offers of a 2nd for Gio and a 1st for Conner outstanding.
If you were in my shoes, how would you address the RB position?

Would you start Gio is Mixon was healthy? I wouldn't. Conner for a first is tough. If I was a really good team and got hit up with injuries at the position, I would do it, but only because even if Conner does not keep up this pace, it at least looks like he will be at least a decent player for a while, so the floor is high enough for me to burn that first to win a championship.

Would definitely not start Gio if Mixon was healthy but I'll also have a hard time rostering that 2nd round player come next year. I can always package up at some point but we only have 20 players in this league and late 2nds can be hard to hold.
Conner would definitely be a risky move not knowing when Bell comes back or how that shakes out in general.

I wouldn't do either trade. Go after for someone like Miller. Maybe a 2nd and a lesser player will be enough.
