Enough for Gurley?

Postby hockeyBjj » Wed Sep 19, 2018 6:54 am

Team 1 in sig, 10 team, ppr, start 1QB, 3RB, 3WR, 1 TE

My notable pieces:
Russ, Dalton
Barkley, Cook, Ajayi, Penny, Ingram (s)
OBJ, Evans, Landry, Juju, Tate
Rudolph, Kittle
2019 2nd, 2020 1st and 2nd

His team
Wentz, Darnold, Carr
Gurley, Drake, Michel, Clement
Davis, M Williams, Enuwa, Agholor, Woods
Engram
19 1st, 2 2nds, 2020 1st and 2nd

He reached out to me wanting a Gurley for OBJ trade, but wanted me to add a little to OBJ so I declined for the time. But he's apparently been in talks with Diggs owner, verbal offer of moving his Gurley for Diggs, Royce Freeman, and a late 1st which seems too light for Gurls, so maybe I can put together an offer?

He's a zero Ajayi guy, but maybe around Cook or Penny with a solid receiver is my thoughts

Cook, Juju, 2020 1st? Too much or not enough? Also very interested in hearing other package ideas

If I could get a Penny package up to value that would be amazing, not sure if possible without Evans or OBJ though

I think that's too much for Gurley. Cook is looking legit in the MN offense and will continue to improve (he's only played 6 games). Unfortunately though, I think the Diggs owner is also overpaying if they believe in Freeman (I don't). I would rather try Evans, Penny and a 1st as a starting point (hope he still believes in the dumpster fire that is Seattle) and expect to pay more.

I think it's an overpay valuewise, but an overpay is what it takes to get Gurley and I would easily pay that.

When it comes to personal value that I place on Dalvin/Juju (which is lower than most) the trade comes out to be even.

I would do it if he will.

Thanks all, I sent a trade offer package of Penny, Juju, and a 2020 1st. I too like Cook a lot and would prefer to keep. Hopefully the Penny/Juju/1st he either takes or is close enough for a sensible counter

I think he's lower on Landry than me, so I haven't mentioned him, but I'd swap Juju for Landry if he wanted that

Probably won't work, hoping to plant the see of a deal along those lines honestly

Wish I had a back between Penny and Cook in value tbh. I have Ajayi, who he's low on and Ingram, who doesn't help him due to age and rebuilding

I'd have done the JuJu/Cook deal, but I'm lower than most in both of them. To me that seemed about right value for Gurley.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert
