RB2 Upgrade Needed on a Contender

I have team that should be built to win now (seeking 3rd straight actually) but my RB2 is a disaster losing McKinnon and Freeman starting slow. I can roll with Bernard for the time being and cross my fingers Freeman establishes himself, but thinking now is the time to go all in to get an solid RB2 (assuming Freeman isn't that guy).

1) Swing for the fence and go after Bell or D Johnson? I've gone hard after them before and owners have been reluctant, team could be tremendous with them, but what would the max be you would give up?

2) Go for 2nd tier guys like L Miller, Drake, Ajay but at what cost, or ride it out?

RB: Gurley, R Freeman, McKinnon, Bernard, Morris, Foreman, Wilkins

I do sort of agree. HOU is not looking good right now and Miller has been just passable. Unless Watson gets going again, I'd be reluctant... although he is the best option presented to go after IMO too.

Miller is not flashy, and does not have huge upside. He does have a solid floor (which is what he hit this week). He's had two meh games, but there is no concern of him losing touches this year and has proven to be a decent runner and pass catcher. You could probably snag him for a 2nd and improve your starting lineup.

Who/what are you willing to deal to get this upgrade? Be careful, I don't see the depth on your roster to swing a trade for DJ or Bell without hurting your core. JMHO.

Since you own Gio, I'd go after Mixon. With his injury, this might be the cheapest you get him.

What would you offer for Mixon? Freeman and WR like Cobb/Parker? 2019 first rounder?

I like this idea, I’d try Cooper for him straight up and see if he bites

If not I’d still trade Cooper for someone in that tier like CMC or Howard

I'd move Freeman and a piece for Bell and see if you can limp into the playoffs. Miller is crap and won't lead you to a title.

See if you can buy Aaron Jones for super cheap? There’s a chance he’s the packers starter within 2 weeks.

Alex Collins wouldn’t be a bad win-now guy, especially if his owner isn’t contending and “just wants to get SOMETHING for him before he loses his job next year”

That's not getting it done. I do like the idea of going for mixon but it'd probably cost u arob plus Cooks.

I'd be going after Chris Thompson, eckler and/or Lindsay.
