Selling too low on Ronald Jones? Or good deal

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Selling too low on Ronald Jones? Or good deal

Postby johnnymozart » Wed Aug 22, 2018 6:20 pm

Any sense in a swap of Carlos Hyde, Trey Burton for my Ronald Jones and a 2019 2nd (mid/late)?

I own Chubb, he owns Barber. He also has Engram and Reed at TE. I don't have my 1st next year so will be trying to compete as best I can with this young roster. Then have 5 more 1sts in 2020 to refill youth round2. Let me know any thoughts, thanks.

Seems lite to me. Your team looks pretty young in regards to competing this year. And I feel while Hyde will get the start and maybe even the bulk of the year, Chubb is gonna get that gig eventually. Only way this would work out would be if Hyde moves to a better situation next year?

Not a fan of Jones, but think you can do better.

Maybe if you get rid of the 2nd. I have lost faith in jones and this time next year he could be worthless. I am not buying Hyde anywhere but in somewhat makes sense for you if they go heavy Hyde like TEN did with Murray. Otherwise you might have 2 roster spots for a committee backfield limiting upside for this and maybe more years. The piece I like though is Burton. Especially if Saheen is out for awhile he will pick up even more targets. I would try to tell him you aren’t that worried about jones long term so the pick needs to be dropped or at least lower rd.
