Henry is still young but in a time share with Dion Lewis brought in to catch the football out of the backfield.
Sony Michel is unproven but will he ever be allowed to "be the man" in NE?

I've seen Henry play, and while he may never be an RB 1, he can put up some big numbers. Haven't seen Michael yet...

I try to be on "talent over situation" guy but both seem to have situational roadblocks: Henry has Dion Lewis and Michel has Bellichick and his vast variance of game by game scripting.
It is concerning that the people who know Henry's game best thought it was best to pay a FA RB a lot of money but I might take the risk there over years of trying to read the tea leaves on what Bellichick may do a given game. Just thinking about Michel, I have visions of Michel becoming a lead back and then in week 16 the Patriots go run and shoot and game with 5 wide because he spotted a weakness in the competition.
I'm not sure I want that stress in my life.

I could be wrong, but I think Henry is a perfectly fine pass catching RB. He's (obviously) no Dion Lewis or Barkley but I think he is just fine at it in the mold of a "traditional" RB if he is ever given the opportunity.
