1.02 for 1.04 and 3.07 - Does it make sense?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.02 for 1.04 and 3.07 - Does it make sense?

Postby Dizzle » Fri Aug 17, 2018 6:43 pm

For Team 2 in Signature

I have 1.04, 2.02, 2.07. 3.01 and 3.07
The owner of 1.02 is asking for my 1.04 and 3.07 to move up. My question is there really that big of a difference between 1.02 and 1.04?
I tried trading up to the 1.02 for an actual player but he wants to move down. Would've been nice to have 1.02 and 1.04. So is the move worth it since there really is no consensus #2 and who would you Target? The draft for this league is Monday night and I'm STILL going back and forth at my 1.04 spot.

Thanks guys!

Not like the 3.7 is really worth all that much anyway unless your IDP, SF, and TE premium so Id do it

Depends - do you favor any one of the slew of RBs over the others? If so, make the move because, as mentioned, the cost is low but if you don't, there isn't any point.
Team 1: Dynasty/Contract Team: 12 Team, PPR, QB,1 RB, 2WR, 2 Flex WR/RB, TE (Premium TE scoring: 1.25X receiving yards points)
QB – J. Hurts, A Richardson (R-IR))
RB – Javonte Williams, K. Walker III,J. Hill, J. Ford, K. Miller (R), J.K. Dobbins (IR), K. Hebert (IR)
WR – J. Chase, C. Lamb, K. Allen, T. Burks, DJ Chark, P. Nakua (R)
TE – D. Waller, C. Okonkwo, L. Thomas, J. Ferguson

Team 2: Dynasty Team: 12 Team, 0.5 PPR, QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex WR/RB/TE (Premium TE scoring: 1.5X receiving yards points)
QB - A. Rodgers, L. Jackson
RB - B. Hall, S. Barkley, A. Kamara, E. Mitchell, J. Mason, Z. White, K. Miller (R), T. Spears (R)
WR - T. Hill, D. Adams, C. Watson, M. Brown, R. Rice (R)
TE - D. Waller, G. Kittle, J. Ferguson

moving up to get the player you want for sure for giving up really nothing. Do it. I would still take Guice at 1.02 if I was building. After that it is a crapshoot for me. Depends on who you want and if you perceive a difference. If so do, as I said.
QB: Mayfield, Bridgewater, Fitzpatrick
RB:David Johnson, Mixon, Chubb, James Robinson, Mattison, K Vaughn
WR: AJG, K Allen, D Adams, JuJu, C Godwin, D Slayton, S Miller
TE: Engram, Kittle
K: Succup
Def.: Arizona

Champions 2006 and 2018. Second a few times in between, again in 2019.

No PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE) 1K 1 1 Def
Drop 7 ea yr. 20 player roster with up to 2 IR

I would need a lot more than a mid 3rd for that move, but I'm one of the guys still locked into Guice at 1.02. If you have all the RBs about even then you can take it I guess, but you should be able to get a much better offer.

Edit: Totally misread and thought you were the one trading down haha, definitely take that if you have a guy you absolutely want, very cheap price to move up.

It's really just about having a preferred RB and that's a very small price to do it. After Barkley as the assumed 1.01, I have one standout and past him, there is a slew of them lumped together. If you feel the same, make the trade to get your guy.

And who would your standout be?

This thread should not be allowed to turn into yet another "who do I pick at 1.02" thread. There are tons of them already.

I was just asking who YOU would pick since you have a 'standout'. I know there are PLENTY of threads out there. Didn't mean to offend.
