Stay put at 6?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Stay put at 6?

Postby dd041496 » Fri Aug 17, 2018 6:25 pm

I currently have the 1.6 pick but thought about trading up to 1.4 to ensure I get one of Barkley, Guice, Penny, or Chubb. Should I sit where I'm at (Freeman or Kerryon) and hope one of them falls or do I package some picks (and players) to move up to 1.4? The guys at 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 have no interest in trading down.If I were to trade up, in a vacuum, what would be a solid package to move from 1.6 to 1.4? I know I don't need another running back but it's always nice to have a plethora of them in my league. Also, I'm not looking at receivers for my team (DJ Moore, Sutton) right now because I feel I have a few that can carry me.

I do not know the order of the draft but if I would trade into the top four I would be guaranteed one of those four running backs. Obviously one or multiple of them could fall to me at 6 but I wasn’t sure if I should trade up into the top four to ensure I’ll have one of them

I would stay put and grab Kerryon.

Stay put. In one of my drafts, Penny fell to me at #7. You never know what will happen.

Yeah a few good RBs are dropping now that the position is getting killed off so early in the preseason. Sit tight.

Stay put and watch how the draft unfolds. Make your move only if you need to after 3 of your 4 guys are gone. I've seen one of those guys fall in almost every draft.

I would hold at 6 as well. Things have already changed greatly before the season has even started. Who knows how this looks in 6 months. Don't pay for a prettier dart toss.
