Traded for Baker last night as part of a package for team in sig.
I now have an offer of Lamar Jackson and a 2020 2nd for Baker. Is Jackson's upside worth Baker's floor? Is a 2nd enough?
I have Wilson and Dak so I think I'd feel ok rolling the dice but looking for opinions. Thanks in advance.

Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
I like Baker's accuracy. Jackson doesn't have that yet, but he has progressed each year. I think Jackson will have his HUGE games here and there because of his big play ability. But for me, I wouldn't feel comfortable rolling him out on a weekly basis as I would Baker
Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
I like Lamar, he might take a year or 2 to get fully acquainted to the NFL, he's a guy that can win you championships if he becomes what people think he could be.
He's a RB in a QB's body.
I feel like next season Lamar is the starter next season, kind of like how Alex Smith played out.
Id look to get LJ, but see if I could get more from the owner if hes the one who is coming at you.

Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
I'm very high on Mayfield. That said, while in superflex Mayfield >> Jackson + 2nd, in 1QB the 2nd is more than enough to swap rookie QBs, especially when you already have Wilson.

Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
In a one QB league, the 2nd is arguably the most valuable asset here. I prefer Mayfield to Jackson, but I'd take the side with the 2nd no matter which QB it's attached to.WhatWouldDitkaDo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 9:07 am I'm very high on Mayfield. Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
In a 1qb league I would for sure make this deal. I like Lamar more than Baker, but if it was reversed I’d make the deal
Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
In a 1 QB 2nd=>Mayfield>Jackson so I take it, pass on that in Sflex

Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
Jackson has far too much risk of being a viable starter in the league whereas Mayfield should have a very long starting career. The gap for me is very, very large - much bigger than a second round draft pick.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
I think Mayfield's ceiling is just as high as Jackson, when your QBs highlights are 90% running I'm not buying.
Keep Baker
Keep Baker
Re: Baker Vs. Lamar Jackson
Floor is more important in SF, ceiling is more important in 1qb. LJ with the bigger ceiling of course, not to mention both of these guys are late 2nd/early 3rd round picks in 1qb so the 2nd round pick may be worth more than both.
1qb this is LJ + 2nd easily.
