My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
Have the opportunity to buy one of 2 WRs, Landry or B Cooks. Admittedly, I’m a Landry truther, even after the move to CLE. Cooks has never been a target of mine, though I do like him and his new situation. In a generic PPR setting, is either a more favorable choice?

Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
For me, Landry and it's not close. But I've got Landry as a top 12 WR option and I know I'm in the minority.
If I'm considering based on overall rankings, it depends on the team. Cooks is a boom/bust guy, a great addition to an already solid team. Landry has a higher weekly floor, and is someone I'd prefer on a mid-level or rebuilding team.

I’ve never owned either in dynasty but think it’s pretty close. I prefer Landry.

I prefer Landry between the two.
Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
I love cooks but Landry is the value here.
However I have read a lot about Cooks and his work ethic is said to be next level, that along with talent = success in my eyes. I see him being a very good low end WR1/high WR2 for years to come.

Also don't own either anywhere, but prefer Landry by a sizable margin.

Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
I like both, but if given the choice I’d go Cooks
Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
Both are consistently under-valued in favor of young potential and time after time both of them prove to be superior. Don't think you can go wrong either way. I do like Landry a little better in the Cleveland offense than I do Cooks on the Rams.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
I would list Landry as a WR 1 and Cooks As a 2 . I honestly think both may have improved their situations with Landry being a target monster and Cooks being with the best offensive minded coach. I own shares of both and honestly feel like I bought them both cheap in the off season.

Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
I prefer Landry due to his situation. Has nothing to do with Gordon there or not there. He gets a bump for sure if hes gone. Cooks is good but Woods and Kupp are also good in their own right. Landry will see more targets and flirt with WR1 numbers in PPR. Cooks will be feast/famine WR2 with upside.

I think we're talking 150 targets (Landry) vs 120 (Cooks). And I think Cleveland will utilize him better than Miami did.

Re: My bias vs guy I’ve never owned a share of
Man, this one is a tough one. I like and own both, on several teams, I guess Landry but I really like Cooks going to LA. I think the pairing with McVay and all of the weapons is going to be great and love that they had been trying to get him and already signed him to an extension but Landry is so solid and reliable, I’ll give him the slight edge.
