Kelce/Henry or Engram/Cook

Postby BelichekYourSelf » Tue Aug 14, 2018 2:05 pm

Team 2 in my sig. Contract league where players become FAs available to the entire league when their contract expires.

PPR/TE Prem (1.5)

I give: Kelce (3 years $24), D. Henry (2 years $17)
I get: Engram (3 years $10), D. Cook (4 years $21)

Which side? Why?

Team I'm trading with is the defending champion who is my top competition in the league. He has Engram/Njoku at TE and Kamara/Cook/Chubb/Mixon at RB.
12 Team. Roster 22, 4 TS. PPR, TE Prem (1.75). Start 1 QB, 5 flex (2 RB Max), 1 Def, 1 K
QB P. Mahomes, J. Goff, B Zappe (TS)
RB S. Barkley, N. Chubb, R. Stevenson, T. Pollard, J. Cook, K. Herbert, A. Mattison, E. Mitchell
WR AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, C. Kupp, A. Cooper, D. Hopkins, DJ Moore, B. Aiyuk, R. Doubs, K. Boutte (TS), C. Tillman (TS), M. Wilson (TS)
TE M. Andrews
Def Patriots, Ravens

Kelce best player but the combo of Engram/Cook is better

Plus it looks like the salary is more favourable as well

Cook with his contract is worth more than Kelce and his contract. And Engram is already worth more than Henry and has the better contract on top.

The value seems fairly even, but I'd much rather hold onto Kelce since you're ready to contend and already have Gurley and Bell as your starters. Can you package one of your WRs with Henry instead for a RB upgrade?

Ingram I feel has the potential to surpass Kelce and some point....and Cook has that top 2 RB potential in PPR. Easy choice for me.
