1.02 and 20191st for Cook

Got offered the 1.02 this year and the owner's first in 2019 for Dalvin Cook. I'd probably grab Penny at 1.02 and hope Guice falls to me at my 1.05. It's a Non-PPR league (team 1 in sig) and I feel like a strong competitor this year, so I'm hesitant to make the move even if it's a fair value.

Other owner finished 9th out of 10 last year but looks a little better on paper. He has no RBs though. I've listed his starters/notables below:

QB: Stafford, Mariota
RB: Tevin Coleman, James White
WR: Adams, Hill, Hogan, KBenj, Shepard, Doctson
TE: Rudolph, Burton

That's a pretty good offer for Cook. I'd have a hard time passing it up, but can see wanting to keep Cook if you're competitive this year. You can always try and flip one of those picks for a proven player that will be able to replace Cook's production.

This is where I’m at. The offer is good but it hurts my competitiveness. However I doubt I could move one of those picks for a player who could replace Cook’s production. The league holds RBs with vice grips

Fair deal for Cook, though if you think you can win now, I'd take Cook.. Other wise, go with the picks.

Cook for competing team especially if you are still getting Guice at 1.05 but it seems relatively fair value if the19 1st is high

Thanks everyone. With all the injuries, poor play and general uncertainty surrounding this RB class I think I'm going with my gut and sticking with Cook. I should have a top 3 team in our league this year barring massive injury and even at each rookie's best I don't see a combination of situation and talent that will replace Cook in the near future.
