Fair Offer and Which Side?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Fair Offer and Which Side?

Postby BHerm24 » Tue Aug 14, 2018 6:14 am

So my draft is coming up in a couple weeks and I am looking for RB help. I was wondering if this is a fair trade to offer or if I am giving up too much for the team and league settings in sig.

I give: D. Hopkins, G. Tate & my 1.12
I get: Zeke, S. Diggs, and 2.7

This would push me to late in second round for my first pick in draft but with a balanced lineup like I would have I wouldn't be to worried about that. Or do you think I just leave this team alone until draft?
Team #1 - 12 team 6pts all TDs PPR and 0.2 PPC. Keep Starting lineup everyone else gets thrown in for redraft
Start 1 QB,1 RB,2 WR, 1TE, 2 Flex

My Starting Lineup
QB: R. Wilson
WR: D.J. Moore
WR: Hopkins
RB: Joe Mixon
WR/RB/TE: Antonio Gibson
WR/RB/TE: Nick Chubb
TE: Dallas Goedert

Team #2 - Full Dynasty 12 Team PPR 20 player rosters

QBs: Kyler Murray, Matt Stafford
RBs: Kamara, Dobbins, Edmonds, Penny, Pollard, A. Mattison
WRs: Tyreek, DHop, AJB, OBJ, Jeudy, Denzel Mims, Bryan Edwards, Collin Johnson, Donovan People-Jones, Preston Williams, Curtis Samuel
TEs: Kittle, Goedert, Logan Thomas

What players do you expect to be available at 1.12 & 2.07 given the keeper settings?

Because it's a PPC league, I see it as:
Zeke >= Hopkins
Diggs >= Tate + 1.12
2.07 > Nothing

I don't think you're offering enough, but maybe the 1.12/2.07 gap is bigger than I'm expecting.
12 Team Superflex - PPR, 0.25 PPC - QB/2RB/3WR/TE/Flex/Superflex
QB: L Jackson, Tagovailoa, Rodgers, Pickett, Tannehill
RB: Swift, Pacheco, Sanders, Hubbard, Spears, Dillon, Herbert, McLaughlin, Chandler, Dowdle
WR: DeVonta, Waddle, Aiyuk, Nacua, McLaurin, Hopkins, M Williams, Mingo, Wan’Dale, Hyatt
TE: Kelce, Okonkwo, Schoonmaker

No there isn't much difference in those, but I offered that because if he parts with zeke he doesn't have anymore RBs so it gives him 2 first round RBs to replace him alongside Hopkins.

Zeke was on pace for roughly 352 touches last year which is an additional 72 points, ~1460 rushing yards, 13 rushing TDs, ~38 receptions, ~385 Rec yards, 3 Rec TDs. That would be roughly 390 points compared to Hopkins 309. Elite, young RBs in PPC leagues are worth a lot more than the elite WRs, IMO. I don’t think it’s a bad offer at all

Given the below before-and-after lineups, I certainly like the move for your team if you can pull it off. The other guy would have to value the 1.12 pretty highly tho for him to accept, as I see the Zeke package outperforming the Hopkins package almost regardless of scoring settings.

Current:
QB: R. Wilson
RB: Todd Gurley
WR: OBJ. Hopkins
WR/RB/TE: Julio Jones
WR/RB/TE: Golden Tate
TE: Howard

After trade:
QB: R. Wilson
RB: Gurley
WR: OBJ, Julio
WR/RB/TE: Zeke
WR/RB/TE: Diggs
TE: Howard
10-team Superflex, 0.5 PPR, 15-man rosters, pseudo-dynasty
Keep any number of players (0-15), lose same number of draft picks
2010, 2015, 2020 - 🏆, 2013 - 🥈

QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, SF, FLEX, D/ST

QB: Dak, Watson
RB: Swift, Robinson Jr, Singletary, Brown, Hubbard, Zeus, Herbert
WR: Wilson, Olave, Pickens, Aiyuk
TE: Pitts, LaPorta

Zeke side for me in PPC as well and Id rather have Diggs than Tate. Likely taking a WR at 1.12. In just about every league Im in Im trading back from the 1.11/1.12 if I cant get one of the 8 RBs/Sutton/Moore Im trading back to early 2nd. Not much seperates Ridley/Kirk/Miller/Gallup for me so Ill take the extra picks to move back a few spots
