*HELP* Top FAs - Pick Two and assign FAAB value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

*HELP* Top FAs - Pick Two and assign FAAB value

Postby Pats/VikesFan » Sun Aug 12, 2018 2:20 pm

Now that the draft has concluded, I have two open roster spots due to Guice and Foreman being injured.

I have the top waiver priority as a tie breaker over FAAB ($100). I am not the best at FAAB and at least 4 other teams (out of 10) have open slots and could be potential bidders.

Which two should I target and what should I bid?

WRs:
Kenny Stills
Geronimo Allison
Dede Westbrook
John Ross
Taywan Taylor
Tyler Lockett
Antonio Callaway
J'Mon Moore
Equanimeous St. Brown

RBs:
Chase Edmunds
Joe Williams (SF)
James Conner
Jaylen Samuels (showing as RB and TE in Yahoo)

TEs:
Austin Hooper
Gerald Everett
Jonnu Smith
Jake Butt
Ricky Seals-Jones
10 team PPR league, 24 man rosters, 5 man taxi, 5 man IR
QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
QB: Anthony Richardson, Tua Tagovailoa, Sam Howell, Trey Lance, Hendon Hooker (IR)
RB: Saquon Barkley, Rhamondre Stevenson, Khalil Herbert, Antonio Gibson, Gus Edwards, Jerome Ford, Kendre Miller (TX), Roschon Johnson (TX), Pierre Strong (TX), Tyson Chandler (TX)
WR: Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, DJ Moore, Diontae Johnson, Chris Godwin, Terry McLaurin, Kadarius Toney, Jayden Reed, John Metchie, Justyn Ross,
TE: George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, Chigoziem Okonkwo, Sam LaPorta (TX), Isaiah Likely, Luke Schoonmaker (IR)

Draft Picks

2025: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

2018 - 2nd
2019 - CHAMPION

I like Stills/Lockett/Callaway

Like both Connor/Samuels but its hard to know which one takes over when Bell leaves. Possible they could bring somebody in next offseason.

Like Hooper/Butt/RSJ

You def need another TE if its the roster in yoir sig. id say Stills and Butt or RSJ.

The main guys that stand out are Lockett primarily and then Joe williams if Mckinnon ends up having this injury be something major.
After them I like Stills and Callaway from the WRs, Hooper and RSJ from the TEs, and Connor from the RBs

Thanks for the advice.

With the McKinnon news, would you dump Dixon for a shot at Williams? Word out of Ravens camp is that Dixon may not even make the roster.

Meh, if Williams couldn't beat out Brieda, how good is he going to be even with opportunity? The Dixon news is mainly related to his health, not performance.

I'm stunned that no one has suggested John Ross as a top pickup. He's a clear number 2 WR in that offense and was a first round pick last year. We know what Lockett and Stills are so they are less intriguing to me but they're worthwhile pickups. Hooper is the best TE available and Callaway is intriguing.
