Trade for Nuk?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade for Nuk?

Postby dcr1984 » Sat Aug 11, 2018 11:45 am

Team 1:
(I posted a variant of this last week but negotiations have changed a little since then)

Give:
Julio
Pick 6
Pick 12

Get:
Hopkins
Pick 18

Seems fair but maybe a bit steep and hurts my chances to get RB help. A core of OBJ/Hopkins/Allen does sound appealing.

If I don’t do it I probably have to cut 1 of Perine/Lynch/Jordy Nelson to use pick #12.

Thanks for the help!

Yeah it feels like a bit of an overpay but probably worth it.

Yes, Julio scares me. So many foot and lower body injuries, and has never been able to find the end zone enough.

Yea it will for sure leave you weak at RB so...... Wait who cares, you will be rolling out OBJ, Nuk, and Allen!!! I have a league like this where I have OBJ, Nuk, and Allen and rocking Lynch as my RB2. Go out and wipe them out with your stud WR because you might not even need points from an RB even though you have descent ones.

The years you gain with Nuk makes this a good move, 2 years down the road when Julio is fully in decline and the 1.06 may or may not pan out you'll be enjoying Hopkins prime and his value will still be very marketable compared to Julio which will be in that Fitz limbo where he's more productive than he is valuable.
