Best Draft Spot in Start Up

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

If you had your choice, what spot would you choose to draft in a 12 team, PPR start up?

2QB or SF I like 1.07, guarantees me 1 of:

Nuk, OBJ, Gurley, Zeke, Rodgers, Wilson, Wentz

And an early pick in the 2nd.

1QB I like #4 to grab one of the non-QBs listed above.

i think you can now add another spot (Barkley trade capital is pretty high)
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

Would much rather have a proven talent over an untested one.

Ya I'm fine with 1.05 and Barkley, a lot of people people around here say it's too high though so I didn't mention it lol.

Here comes my diatribe whenever this is posted! :) (It presumes that you can trade picks.)

Round 1 is more valuable than Round 2.
Round 3 is more valuable than Round 4.
Round 5 is more valuable...
Every odd-numbered round is more valuable than the even-numbered round that follows.

So, it stands to reason that the best spot to be in is at the beginning of every odd-numbered round. Those picks carry, by far, more value than the other picks.

Put that together, and, by value, it is always best to take the first pick. You have the top choice in the more important rounds AND the most trade value if you decide to go that route instead. I'd much rather be picking 1.01 than 1.02 or 1.08, and I would much rather be trading down from 1.01 than from 1.04 or 1.11.
